Laser eye treatment - who's done it?

@moisty I had mine done through optical express Birmingham.
They're a chain essentially so, how they do things may vary.
What did they say at your day 1 post procedure check up?
You can use the lubricating eye drops more often to see if that helps.
Would not use the steroid drops more often unless specifically advised as these can cause a lot of side effects.

The best non surgical route is multifocal contacts which I presume you're already using. The fact they also have multifocal with toric correction contact lens these days for astigmatism is very useful as astigmatism angle changes with age so laser surgery and toric IOLs can end up being the wrong angle as we age, but for contacts its simply a prescription change.

Thanks, don't need it yet I can still focus short distance just fine. Just expect it come at some point and wondered if it was laserable.

I have an appointment 26th Feb. I just would have expect for me to notice even the slightest of improvements as the days go on.
Just another thing, have you actually called them to say your vision isn't improving and still blurry?
This forum isn't medical advise so I would strongly suggest you get them on the blower.

I had laser eye surgery 6 days ago. Up close is very blurry and hazy! Long distance is better but sometimes goes out of focus and can be slightly hazy especially of a morning. After surgery my eyes and nose was streaming extremely badly I couldn’t even open my eyes for several hours after the surgery and my eyes felt like they was rolling into the back of my head. I am concerned if this is normal or not altering paying almost £5000. Will they get better and just need more healing? I’m worried. I am 41 years old. I am using eye drops as instructed and have avoided getting my eyes wet. Any advice appreciated.

As others have adviced, call them.

Had mine done last year and:
-left eye was almost crystal clear within 5 hours of surgery,
-high light sensitivity is normal, couldn't even look up-right on sunny days for about a week
-also had astigmatism on both eyes
-right eye was scratched on the evening following surgery, which meant I couldn't keep it open for more than 2 seconds
-they added a bandage lense on my right eye, which came off 2 days after
-right eye became crystal clear a week post-surgery, but the scratch increased the astigmatism to -1.5 (from theoretical 0).
-my left eye was perfect within 2 weeks as far as I could tell, and within 3 months based on eye tests
-my right eye is still not perfect (due to the scratch) but it's been improving with astigmatism now measuring -0.5.

You can also use as much natural tear as you feel like it, so use it whenever you feel any 'friction'.

I am now using tears once a day on average. Some days I go without needing to, others (if I'm working too much/driving at night for long hours/etc) I'll use them a bit more as needed.

What procedure did you have? What you describe is normal for PRK. For LASIK that sounds unusual.
