Laser nose hair removal

Nose hairs are one type you shouldn't pluck as it'll open you to infection and it's a short ticket ride to your brain (so I read somewhere so it must be true lol).
Is that true? I've been doing the old tweeze and sneeze for years as otherwise I end up looking like the wolfman!

I believe so, I google'd it and it' AI DoomBot had this to say:
  • Nasal furunculosis
A deep infection of a hair follicle that can cause swelling and pain. In severe cases, the infection can spread to blood vessels that reach the brain, which can lead to cavernous sinus thrombosis. This condition occurs when blood clots form behind the eye sockets and can cause permanent brain damage if left untreated.

  • Infections
Plucking nose hairs can expose the pore to bacteria and germs that can cause infections. These infections can travel through the veins that drain the nose to the brain, potentially causing meningitis, brain abscesses, or cellulitis. In people with weaker immune systems, the veins can form a clot of infection that puts pressure on the brain, which can lead to paralysis or death.
So yeah, there's that!

Never knew that @Mysterae_

Waxing I never knew existed either; must bring a tear to the eye. Ex-smoker and accidentally scorching - the smell doesn't go away for a little while. Horrible smell.

Just get an electric nose hair trimmer. The hairs are there for a reason, to stop dust, germs and what ever else making their way into your respiratory system.

I used to get rid of all of mine, and constantly got ill. The drugs went up easier though, but none saved for later. You win some, you lose some.

I have a similar problem. I tried waxing once but it took me all day to get the sticks out. I too don’t like the stubble from using an electric trimmer. I just stick a pair of nail scissors up there and chop. Makes it easier to breathe.

using a trimmer leaves it feeling bristly and uncomfortable for days afterwards
whats your nose hair made of barbed wire?

you'd soon get used to it no doubt.

Every time I do mine I don't even notice, what kind of nose trimmer do you have? maybe its cutting the hairs at a sharp angle or something.

I've got 2 different ones and have no issue with either, but the oldest one if like a mini hair clipper on the cutting edge.

The ones that are like a mini tower with slits in it are crap and make loads of noise and don't seem as good

Bloody feels like it.

Funnily enough, I have the exact same Philips trimmer listed above. It's great for a quick tidy up but isn't pleasant. I had another nose specific trimmer awhile back that I forget the make of that had the same issue.

Read title as Gray2233 advertising a general hair removal service using a laser mounted on/in his nose.

I pull them out, chuffed if I can get a non-grey one.
