I'm pretty sure didn't give any notice, and I think that was the point. Middlesborough didn't even turn up for the match.

What was kind of stupid, was that by being docked three points they were actually in a worse position than sending the youth team to play and getting beat 10-nil. These points docked were actually the points that sent them down.

Completely wrong.

We did give 24 hours notice. And were told it was our choice whether the game went ahead or not.
