Laurence Fox

The more I look at it, he pretty much is 100% at fault.. The muppet did this so publicly that it had to be brough to the Police's attention and what do they do?

The police raid to look for evidence is fairly normal, they need to search/seize as much as they can quickly, I've seen other instances of raids to gather evidence, it's always a van full of coppers..

And of course they want his phone/iPads etc.. they will be looking for evidence of colluding with others for the stated potential crime..

The law hasn't been applied equally to everyone. It could be said that the unevenness is feeding the culture war.

Why hasn't Chris Peckham been arrested? He literally had a programme called "Is it time to break the law". In the programme he interviewed a guy who had wrote a book about blowing up pipelines. He never challenged the guy.

You can't arrest people for asking questions.

You can arrest people for threatening to commit a crime.

I didn't realise precrime was a thing in the UK.

Thought this only applied to protests before they become disruptive... very progressive. :)

I wonder if the plod would let ulez guys plonk themselves down in the middle of the road just stop oil style or if they'd be dragged off kicking and screaming.

I was thinking the same thing, albeit the other way around, i.e. would those screaming about how JSO should be stopped also agree on this action with Fox? The only difference I can see is JSO don’t publicise their explicit actions so as to get caught.

It’s mostly been used against anti-monarchists and eco protesters.

Did you was the programme? His conclusion was no.
