I remember a case on that...i forgot, was years back before computers and some guy basically did his own using cut outs of "body" parts, clippings from magazines to look like children.

Pseudo-photographs are where the head of a child has been photoshopped onto an adults body or vice versa, and is certainly illegal. However, you can't be charged with possession of an illegal image if you can show that the model is in fact over 18, no matter how old she or he appears to be.
It's always a judgement call for the investigators if we come across an image of a girl who could be either an adult or a child, and we tend to give the benefit of the doubt. At the end of the day though, if necessary, it'll for the jury to decide.
 
A neighbour of mine, who's lifes ambition is to be a glamour model, was told that she had to be 18 before she was allowed to do any topless shots. She's now 19 and although she's done topless shots for a couple of years, she has to have her hands over them because she's a bit 'shy'.

Yeah, great mindset for a glamour model :rolleyes:

Oh, she's also a little on the tubby side and has a face like the back end of a bus.

But walking round naked all the time is like going to the dessert and wearing 3 layers all the time. Not to mention the wasted energy due to the extra heating they need.

As stated it is 16 in this country - at least for topless. I remember the countdown to Linday Dawn McKenzie's 16th birthday in the DailySport (Not that I ever bought a copy!). Up until her birthday (i.e. when she was 15) she was in a bikini but on her birthday (or hopefully the day after) she got 'em out.

In the US they have odder rules. In American Beauty Thira Birch was topless at 17 but her mum was present during filming so it was OK apparently.
 
In American Beauty wasn't the nude scene filmed with her parents watching because she wasn't 18.. Something like that.
