lazy Sunday's do you have them?
I can't remember the last time I had one.

Most of the cars on our street don't move so I guess some folk do.

We moved house six weeks ago so they have been quite busy of late. Things are settling down now, thankfully.

They usually consist of walking the dogs, and eating a lot :)

Go to the clurrb at 10am for a couple of pints then back home for a huge roast dinner. Then sit and fart all afternoon groaning after eating too much food before going back to the clurrb for Sunday evening.

Sit in my PJ's until 10ish, have breakfast, soak in the bath, lunchtime football, mid afternoon dinner, doze, then spend the evening sorting my work stuff out, prepping for the week ahead.

Unless I have something on then this is the blueprint for my Sundays.

I usually head off to do my weekly shop at 09:30, then spend the rest of the day pottering around the house, preparing everything for the next working week, veg out on the sofa watching the footie, and then a little bit of gaming in the evening. :)

I like to start a Sunday by going to my local church, in time for the morning service, and laughing loudly at most of what is being said in the sermon. Then I go to my local establishment of fermented vegetable wholesalers, and wet my pallet with a gallon of whatever's cheapest. Then back to church for the afternoon service where I proceed to urinate in the baptismal font.

By evening I like to indulge in 12 minutes of Call Of Duty multiplayer. 12 minutes being the average time I can stay on any server before I'm banned. I then go onto the internet where I troll people in the YouTube comments section by pretending that I'm Justin Bieber's brother. Finally after some vodka and a thermo nuclear curry, I consider the existential quandaries of my existence relative to my fellow primates and how I can be more annoying to people on a general level without invoking physical assault upon my person. Then finally I lapse into unconsciousness ready for another manic Monday safe in the knowledge that I'm a doing my bit for the gene pool.

Was that meant to be funny ?

Terrible weather, stayed in most of the day and watched the F1, just had a roast dinner and walk around the lake. Time for the washing up, and a couple of drinks.

Got up about 8am.

Read a book downstairs for a while as kids for once were sleeping in late.

Tried to mow the lawn a 9:30, but it was too wet, so washed the car.
Then went through 2-12 times tables with 8 year old.
Had an early lunch, then went to the beach for 3 hours.
4pm was a pool party for my 5 year old, but the wife had to take over after the pool bit as I had to go to work for something urgent(own business),
Home for 5:30, made fajitas and started drinking wine.
Just finished eating and now it's bedtime routine.

And that was my one day off as I had to go into work yesterday all day, on day off(own business).

I remember Sundays being like a lock down day, could not get anything from the shops.:(

But we also ate like kings. ;)
Fry-up for breakfast lard dripping and fried bred. Then Sunday lunch about 1-2pm, for evening tea it would be salad and sandwiches with a bit of battenberg cake for afters. :D

That is the time people used to knock on your door for a few slices of bread or a cup of sugar, not because they where down and outs but it was Sunday and you could buy sod all. :p

Nice family days that's for sure, I have very fond memories. :)
