Le Mans 24 hour race - 2015

The Toyota team must feel utterly depressed. They have had zero issues yet are 7 laps down. You gotta feel for them :(

Apart from a small mistake from Davidson, they've been completely clean all weekend. But they just don't have the power. They focussed on aero efficiency instead.

They also claim to only have 50% of the budget of Audi/Porsche, so it's not a bad job. But new engine and a switch to 8Mj battery hybrid system for next year. So hopefully it'll be a 4 way fight next year if Nissan can get their act together.

Was just thinking that - the forecast has been saying dry for ages and there's no sign of any. Has someone just felt a few spots and gone mad?

Yeah I hope so. Theres an article on Autosport where they admitted that they thought their advantage they had last year would still be there, and were then completely caught out by the massive leaps forward Audi and Porsche have made.

It's good to see they have reacted by bringing forward the development of a new engine rather than thrown the towel in and quit.

The commentators really don't like Hulkenberg. It's almost as if they look at him as just doing this for a bit of fun and F1 is is his job, and as such, doesn't belong.

When he was in the car yesterday afternoon he was extremely fast and consistent. Yet they kept going on about how slow he was going.
