Just played a pure caster for the first time just now as Malzahar is free this week. Managed to get soulstealer early on and get up to 14 stacks, I was dealing so much damage and hi ultimate is insane. Just put the dot on the target, aoe dot under his feet and suppress him inside the aoe with the ultimate and itll kill most champs that don't get health items :)

If some pure casters are similar I may purchase one or two, although it seems choices are limited when you consider that you need some form of CC to do well against good players.

I also played Maoki and throwing sapplings and watching them chase enemies is so fun :) I got so many kills because the enemy had no idea what to expect, plus the added benefit of being able to see into a bush before going into it is nice.

Casters are good but you need to have your wits about you as in a team fight you may as well have a big bullseye painted on you saying i deal lots of damage but dont have much health so form an orderley quee to come and kill me.Need good teamwork to protect you.
Tend to find that if a caster gets fed then they have a pretty good chance of winning the game.Also tend to find that the person laning against the caster wont deviate from there build and actually get some MR :)

It depends if you're playing in the mumble group. Once you get to 20+ t's much easier. Although there is something to be said for taking your time and enjoying the ride to level 30 as the game does change at 30. Partly for the better partly worse

Tals, mumble kicked me today and wouldn't reconnect as it was full (30 people). Seems like the servers regularly getting 20+ in the evening so any chance we could have the people count extended, if possible?

You sure it was not allowing you in because it was full, we appeared to have an outage at around 11.00ish last night, I think this was a network issue because the mumble server is showing a clean graph (when it has a spike it shows on the graphs).

Max people on the server on server it's indicating was 25

Very happy to move the server to 40 users but don't want todo it if we haven't hit that point yet.

It was just a little hiccup with the server, it wasn't actually full. Although I've consistently been seeing 20-25 people on lately I've yet to actually witness it going over that point.

heimer is always intresting to play hes a caster but pretty unique.

|Q| he places upto 2 sentry guns down that auto attack (it used to be 3 but they decided it was to OP
|W| has rockets that fire at upto 3 targets.
|E| an AOE grenade that has a small stun on anything near the centre of the explosion
|R| repairs his sentry guns , makes them shoot i think its 150% faster and they apply a slowing effect to anything hit.

his passive is an aura that gives heath per 5 seconds which can repair your own sentry guns , towers , heals minions and your allies.

you can beat anyone 1v1 if you have your guns setup and the element of suprise, for example a small bush in the jungle +2 guns + stun grenade + util = they will die almpost instantly after entering the bush it works stupidly well if you can get someone to bait the enemy team into one of these traps.

hes can be an extremely aggressive laner aswell as his sentry guns do scare people fairly quicklly and when your pushing in team fights getting your guns down just outside the enemy base gives your team enough confidence to stand near them rather than reveryone running like headless chickens if the enemy tries to counter push

I remember playing it a long time ago and I bought Malphite. He's good but doesn't really suit my play style, I'm more of a ganker and annoy people type player and the above char sounds perfect for me really!

Tried Tryndamere last night and was level 6 while everyone was level 10... I couldn't play him at all :(

Trynd you have to play slowly, do not die or you are doomed, get every last hit or you are doomed, take cleanse or you are doomed (if the opposing team has any knowledge and snare/stun/exhaust or ignites you)... Make it to lvl18 without being doomed and roll face :D

Ahh I see. Odd that the server kept saying it was full but presumably that was just because of the hiccup. I can certainly see us hitting the 30+ mark soon though as there's more and more people staying on longer/joining us for the first time :)

Heimer isn't that overpowered, in fact I would say he's slightly underpowered unlike other mages I do not fear when I see him packing a DC and 600 AP - perhaps if they were to buff his base states or improve the intial damage of his skills.
 
I have exactly 1350 IP and I'm looking to buy a new champion. I've only just started playing (played less than 20 games so far) so I want 2-3 champions to have there so I don't need to rely on the free ones. I've already bought Lux (who I absolutely love playing) and now I'm looking at either Tristana or Annie. I like ranged casters - I know Tristana isn't really a caster but she looks fun.

What would you guys get? Keep in mind I'm a super low level. :p
 
Yea I need some champs!

I bought the retail version a long time ago, I went in to the rune section last night and I have 4 T3 runes, guess I got them free with the boxed version!

Didn't I use to play with you and your clan in Global Agenda? When the clan didn't get interested in LOL I created the mumble community - any of the clan playing it or have I made a fool of myself and mistaken you :)

If you like Ranged champs then Ashe is wonderful and his ability to stun anywhere on the map great. I'm also playing Blitz - love his yank though at the moment I either have really good games or very bad ones. Really finding it difficult to farm with him. Tristana can be fun but because he jumps into the action you can find yourself jumping in and dieing :)

No buddy we defiantly played together in GA with my clan :) Was good fun and you're right I'm sure you were telling us about LoL and no one was interested lol (no pun intended!)

Yea we have about 6-10 people playing it at the moment, got about 4-5 who are max level and pretty good and the rest of us are noobs. I'll have to jump on Mumble mate be good to talk/play with you again, been a while mate. Hope you're well.

I'll pm the password to you (server details are on the first post). Quite happy for any of you guys to jump on. We're startiing to approach 30 users regularly online which makes a nice pool of people for setting up premades.

Also if you guys ever fancy a 5 v 5 for fun then we can organise that. We can do a serious 5v5 as well but that wouldn't be me :)

Yea mate you and me both. I didn't really take to GA. We stayed in it for a while but everyone moved on.

Thanks mate that would be great. I'm proper rubbish at this game I warn you lol.

I think that would be good to do a fun 5v5 mate I'm sure our guys would be well up for it :)

Ashe and Tristana are definitely girls :p
 
Chk4 - no worries, I have my good moments and my absolutely diabolical moments (last night I considered jacking it all in it was that bad :( ) but I love the game and the community.

Dei - :) You know that I don't play girl characters, come now :)
