Just finished patching. Can anyone remember exactly how much the 3 day IP boost is? Trying to identify which one is the 3 day boost because they're not being displayed properly in the store.

1846 must be 14 day
670 10 wins?
520 3 day?
290 3 wins?

Guess I have to wait to be sure. Also don't really like the way the pages slide now, some items seem to be stuck halfway which ever page you're looking at.
 
Man, I really need to get back into LoL. Been super busy lately and haven't had a game in ages. Seems like a lot more people playing now compared to the early days when we needed randoms to fill out the teams :)

Need to get to lvl 20 so I can get involved in season one.
 
Hmm I wonder if previous new heroes go through the hell the team I was on put the guy with Xin through. I'm guessing probably yes :) he died a lot.

290 is the 1 day IP boost IIRC, can't remember what the 3 day one was though.

Also yea, people playing new heroes always get a bit of stick. Usually stops within a day or so though when people start realizing how OP the new characters are (Kog'Maw I'm looking at you).
 
Is there any sort of friend system for this? I'd like to play some games with some OcUKers to help me get to grips with some team play tactics and such.
 
Hi mate, really sorry but they only had 3 copies in the game which me and 1 of the assistants could not find so I didn't even get my self any :(
 
Just played my first ranked game with blind draft. I was last pick on my team (still got to play as warwick though :)).

Also everyone seems to of started on 1200 Elo, I just lost 32, as we had a Master Yi with a suicide 3vs1 attacking going on all game. May aswell gave up after he died twice in the first 3mins and continued to die all game...

I'll be only playing ranked once those who don't know how to play have dropped out of my banding,as the whole team suffers otherwise if you play solo 5vs5.

Ouch mate, no worries.

Also there is indeed a friend system in this game. What you want to do is add me and the other regulars in-game "mcknight27, Silent OCUK, Talsworthy, Goberkain" and also hop into mumble whenever you plan on playing. The server info is on the first page of the thread IIRC, there's plenty of us knocking about from 5pm onwards.

-edit- I know how you feel Silent, me and tals just played one and we get hammered by a ridiculously good Kog'Maw as well as an awful Sion on our team.... Like really really awful.

ok we have one slot for a person in a ranked game. Either hit mumble or the overclockers chat in game and we're get you in
 
Had 2 ranked solo games earlier. First one went nicely, was playing Shen with 10/0/11 I think it was and my dash taunt seemed to be working this time.

Second game wasn't so great. Some guy was absolutely raging (before the game even started) that with my mere 60 games I shouldn't be playing ranked and that I was going to lose it for the team... at one point Shaco comes top and he chases him just under their tower despite Morgana and Xin being able to sweep round us (still laning phase, he knew fine well they were there)... not sure how he expected that fight to carry out but Soraka + Sion vs Morgana, Shaco, Xin is never gonna end well. Anyway, long story short this patch may have brought out the morons that think they are something just because they have 300 games and a full set of runes under their belt.

How have you guys found it so far? Found the ranking system working nicely or bringing out morons?
 
I'm using Ashen I think it is. Was only 250 riot points as I can't get on with any champs :(

I know people said don't use riot points but I needed a good ranged champ, quiet like her. I teamed up with that Xin guy and between him knocking champions in the air and my stun arrow we raped hard :D

Glad to hear your liking Ashe. What's your in-game name as I didn't see you on last night?

Now comes the bad news though. Ashe is only 450 IP (one of the dirt cheap starting champs) which means you could afford her after like 3 games or so. So once again I'll irriterate, Don't buy champs with Riot Points :D

Also Anim your obviously not playing at a very high ELO if you think Kog'Maw is useless. His superior range means he is ridiculously powerful in the laning phase and also he is one of the best Chasers in the game. Damage output also gets ridiculous when you go pure AP which is what all the good Kogs are doing these days.

Haha, yea I tried loads of bot games and hated all the champs so I had to get one! But now I feel like I've wasted it. Point re iterated kind sir lol.
