yea its free and you can buy everything with the ingame money but people who spend real money can obviously buy them faster.

theres a selection of chars that you can play for free that alternate every week to use until you can afford to buy the ones you like out right

i been dieing to try it out but....when i saw the gameplay....the graphics just looks crap compared to HON.....o well...guess il have to try it out to know =)

It's down to preference and what you know. I've played Hon and no denying (puns intended :) ) it' a pretty game but those browns and greens make the champions hard to make out for me. I prefer the Graphics in LoL - though if I was looking at videos of the game I might agree with you.

If you click create an account it's in big letters :)

That said LoL is not HoN, they come from the same stable of Dota but whereas Hon has taken Dota and cleaned it LoL went outside of the box. Some Hon players like this some don't. If you don't the HoN price is pretty good tbh

Hey! Good to see you again. My suggestion would be download and play the game, maybe join us if you fancy in mumble. Page 1 of this post has the details

If you like it then it's up to you whether you then pay to get early unlocks of champions or wait and use in game cash to unlock the champions you like.

Alternatively you can buy cash in game or get a collectors pack. The cheapest way of paying is to get a collectors pack - Game has the best deals on the collectors pack. The collectors pack gives you £10 worth of cash as well as the 20 champions. Game's deal is currently £4.99 at the stores or buy 2 and get 1 free :) Online the best deals are around £6.99 - Google is your friend there.

If you can get 3 copies for £10 go for it, the champions obviously don't double up but gives you crazy amounts of Gold :)

Ridiculously awesome trailer has been released. There's also a Season 1 interview here.

Chk4 you need to go into the in-game store and then click the redeem code tab. Just enter the code (not your email as this will cause it not to work for some reason) and away you go.
 
I would suggest you enter the code in notepad and then copy it to the redemm in the store from there. If you mistype then the code gets cleared so easier if it's in notepad to check:)

* Install the game and in game it has the store to allow th eredeem code

Guy's the server's going to be down tonight for the Season One overhaul. From 6pm onwards.

Also Chk4 play the tutorial and a practice game or two, just so that you get used to the interface/controls etc before jumping into a real game.
 
I downloaded this the other day and I'm finding it quite fun so the thought of buying it is tempting. It's £15 on steam and it states that I get access to 20 champions but I can't seem to find out which champions you get.

Can anyone shed some light on this?
