for those who would like the mumble password it is on the first page. You still need authorisation to talk by an admin but gets you in which is a start :)

Got into my Plat promos finally, took a lot longer than I was hoping it would...
Was gonna do them last night but they disabled ranked queues (what a surprise on EUW) so I ended up playing some normals with Scotteh and his friend.
We had some...er... 'interesting' games hah.
I discovered I suck at Yasuo mid and that the Ezrael+Nunu combo bot lane is real terror :p

I need to learn the strong supports :/ I stupidly picked nidalee last night as supp and whilst I did a lot of damage she just felt disconnected from the game!

Leona, Thresh and Annie, here I come :)

Decided to jump back on last night. Not been on for a month or so. Had a couple of AI games just to make sure I could still play.

First game as Kayle to try her out didn't go so well. Was making so many silly little mistakes. Still snowballed hard but ya know, AI, should've done better.

Had a go at Aatrox. Ended up bot lane with Alistair support against Ashe Zyra. That lane was just silly. Had a Bloodthirster by 8 minutes and it just turned into me and the Alistair going where we wanted, instakilling everyone. Game was over by 15 minutes. Shame things like that can't happen in real games :D

Gonna take a little break I think, been playing Rust for the last day and it's insanely fun. Will be nice to relieve the stress of ranked a bit.

Don't write off the unconventional supports,

Hybrid Gragas is quite fun, you can zone off and make them lose plenty of cs :D

I would still say that Thresh is my fav support, though I have been seeing a lot of attack speed voli's coming out to play of late.

And Nami/Karma are decent under picked supports too, I like playing them from time to time just to mix things up

So I get into my promos for Plat and the first game goes fine, hooray a win.
The next game...oh god the trolls...
We get an AD blitz and Sejuani bot lane, why god why. The worst thing is that you can report them but pretty sure nothing will happen and tha game is still gonna be a loss. Think they ended up something like 3/19/8 between them.

From the point of view of an observer, Karma doesn't seem like a support you could really put to good use in solo queue at lower ranks. Good in the early lane but only really strong in teamfights if your team has some degree of coordinations (or is well ahead).

I totally agree, not saying she's the strongest pick in most situations but it's good to throw something different in the mix, people tend not to play against the likes of Karma that often and they usually play safe/under tower which allows your AD to get ahead on cs.

The support gragas throws a lot of people off in bot lane especially if they only ever play bot they don't know how to handle gragas, they tend to play really passive and are afraid to go in.

Heh, I can actually see plenty of free kills coming your way too if they're aggressive near your tower and Gragas has ulti.

Yeah I was trying to play support but ended up with more kills than my friend who was playing AD,

They seemingly forget the burst gragas can do and just focus the AD, which results in a double kill for me and vice versa if they target me usually ends up with a double of him.

Plus with the ult like you said, they have to play passive otherwise they are in trouble if they come anywhere near tower range :D
