*** League of Legends ***

I "/ignore all" at the start of every game now. Seems to help with the ragers, can just play in peace then. Kinda got tired of holding peoples dicks as support, playing top now and enjoying that much more. Much easier to carry as a fed Nasus, nothing feels better than crushing a teemo in lane. :cool:

So I've had a bunch of free time over the bank holiday weekend to spam some games :D Decided it was about time to play some ranked again and here's the result!

It's pretty much where I expected to be. Perhaps I could be slightly higher when taking into account that I was doing pretty well in my first 4 games but still lost due to a combination of me trying too hard and not being forceful enough when my team weren't cooperating for objectives.

Now to summon up enough strength to do it on my other account (already has 2 losses from a while ago)

Have faith haha, I once again placed silver this season, but after 30 or so games I finally made it to the promised land of gold, although I don't feel like playing much lately so just been doing 1 game a month to keep me there for rewards.
 
I love playing this game but i play 98% vs bots, too scared to play vs players, how sad is that its like playing cs:go vs bots. :(

if i get drunk enought i will play vs peeps but that doesnt help lol.

also vs bots gives you the wrong idea and teaches you bad ways!

Just play howling abyss, that way you're guaranteed to try a bunch of different champions and the games are pretty short. Add in the ability to mute anyone that complains and you have the perfect way to move from bots to people :). The league community is definitely a lot less toxic than it used to be, too

Depends how long you have been playing like that for. Most say start PvP after hitting 30

Yeah, there is absolutely no point playing versus bots, you don't learn anything from it, if you want to practice stuff then just do Howling Abyss or just jump straight into normal games and just ignore what people say.
 
My view - though I no longer play it - don;t game much tbh :( Is find a team, my voice chat is freely available here so get a group and the rage stuff tends to go. Much better experience
 
Anyone watching worlds?

Been playing for about 4 months now. Sitting in low gold but aiming to finish in plat before the season is out.

Just started playing 3v3 twisted treeline ranked with friends, games are shorter and no toxicity.
 
I've been playing it a few games at a time for over a year and i'm only level 25 haha :D switched to PVP at level 18 though as bots are a little too easy and you won't learn more advanced things playing against bots.

I've now managed to unlock Team Builder again now though, so less having to play Thresh top :eek:

Trying to catch Worlds, annoyed that I forgot to check for tickets for the UK leg would love to go, hopefully they will go back to London during a season at some point.
 
Time certainly flies, after 6 years I'm shutting down the Mumble server, it's use has been fairly limited over the last few months and I've just come across discord voice comms which pretty much does the same thing with an active development. It maybe someone here will set up a discord server(it's free) or alternative for ocuk LoL players in which case post the details and I'll add it to the front page. From a personal point of view lol is a totally different game with voice comms, if you haven't tried it then you are missing out on a very sweet experience.
