No matter what the people of the official forums say the community seems decent enough to me and I've got to say leavers don't really seem as prevelant as said forums might suggest, I might get one possibly every 10 games? That's nothing that would ruin the game for me :)

There are plenty who do flame and ironically are normally the ones who are terrible! But for the most part people are adult enough to just ignore them and carry on.
 
I'd say you've been lucky, I tend to play with premades of 4 or 5, usually my mates. We often find that one in 4 games somebody leaves on the other team. Also get a lot of abuse as well. I just wish they would fix that damn chat so that games can be made easily.
If another game like this comes out on steam, I'll be all over it in a heart beat.

I'll agree with that. Good players tend not too talk ****, they just play the game and win.

Also just remember that you have "/ignore enemy" (or "/ignore ally" in extreme cases) if you are in a really bad flame war and just want to forget and it and play.
 
I've not played since the 23rd because of the number of mindless kids who just feed the enemy or ragequit or worse spam rubbish in chat making out everyone else in the world is a noob :rolleyes:

In the past 8 games there's been 5 ragequitters and 3 people who stood in the base where they didn't want a leave against their name.
Might wait until after christmas to see if it goes back to how it was before as it's just a joke atm :(

My clan have also all got the new WoW so I've mostly been playing on singleplayer matchup thing :(

Again, it all stops above ~1500 elo.

Also solo queuing is just asking for pain, surely everyone knows that by now? I don't think I would have played this game for nearly as long if i was by myself.

Agreed I definitely wouldn't still be playing now and I love the interaction on the mumble server anyway :) I have sent Lau and Mortals the password for the voice server, we just ask people enjoy the game and the community we have.

We had some really fun games last night, the b^"^&"* chat server was down so we hit practice games. First one was lousy the Ryze was truly awful and poor Silent kept finding he had no support when he thought he had it. Ripp ended up on the opposing team so he at least got the win. Then moved to a second game - there Miss Fortune ripped lumps out of me in mid causing a very fed miss fortune to be an absolute pain. Once we had her nailed it was plain sailing to nexus.

Finally ended up with a game on Lol's suggestion of all random and all mid. Not played one of these before. Basically all mid, no brush, no Guardian Angel and you just push mid. Really fun game and a good way to try new heroes in a relaxed game.

What is going on with these servers, we had a couple of very good games pre 6.00pm, no chat problems. Fast matchmaking (<10 secs) so I am assuming the servers were quite well loaded. We hit evening and again chat goes down

Excellent, I saw you pop in so all looks good. When you are ready to play suggest you pile into mumble and park yourself in ready to join. When YOu came in you no doubt saw a lot of people in on later. This is to give an indication of who is planning to play and gives an idea how popular a night it could be.

Most of the people in here will be Overclockers/Gamers With Jobs/Gaming Trend and QT3 Forums with OCUK probably making up 70% ish of the group :)

Yet it then went down again :( Anyone here got any influence with Riot - Anim you're the only one I can think of who may have the ability to see if they are taking this seriously. So far it's ruined the last 3 gaming nights i've played and virtually nothing from Riot :(
