I also doubt she scales well, in comparison to other carries (although obviously I'd have to see her skills, ratios, etc). My guess is that she'll peak at 16ish and late game will be out-carried by the usual suspects. Can't wait to try her out though, might make a nice change from Trist.

Do they always do these demos with the main char being significantly higher than the other chars - first time i've noticed it.

Got 3 in mumble for a game if we can find 1/2 more
 
well her snipe thing is sort of borrowed from ashes arrow , her every so many hits is a headshot is like jax util where he does XXX magic dmg every so many hits, and nidalee comparrison was cos they both like brush and her trap which i know snares seemed to give the eyes above the target so you can see where they are the same as nidalees
 
Just started playing this and bought the Digital CE the other, any characters I should be buying first? I liked Ashe from playing the free to play and Miss Fortune looked kinda cool so bought that also :p

Any good sites for build orders etc?

a lot of dodgy builds though even some of the higher rated ones are pretty craptastic sometimes , i guess you can get an idea of what people do but your best off adapting your build everygame depending on what classes your fighting , who your laning against etc


some people dont use there brain for example , you see someone playing rammus fighting a team who are mainly magic damage nukers, this rammus is to stupid and copies the build he saw on the internet so hes got loads of useless armor when he needs magic resist.
 
Started playing a bit before Christmas.. am about lvl 10 and have only really learnt how to play one character so far (Kayle) but am looking for some people to team with if u want to invite me :D

We must have held the nexus with no towers and 2 inhibs down for 10 minutes last night, they kept forgetting to focus me so down they went as they came back in

I think that's the most minion kills i've had and at 1100 for the team outrageous amount. Couple of times we almost managed a come back but the minions at the end just kept us pinned back

** Blitz might not be the strongest character but he is great fun, loved those yanks in :)

Bought Caitlyn, I quite like her. Pretty clear there's only 1 build for her which is a bit disappointing but so far I'm fairly impressed. Her ulti isn't great but can really catch people off guard if you hide in grass.

She plays a lot like MF from what I can tell, although her escape is much better.
 
She is very annoying to mid against, so easy for her to harass early. Seemed pretty bad late game though, although was probably the fault of the player.

which build is that? AD crit?

i only played her twice and just did
berserker boots , 2x phantom dancers , infinity edge , blood thirster

she seemed pretty good and i had decent stats both games, i think her traps are pretty crap but shes fairly easy to harrass and escape with
 
Not had a long enough game yet to see how much extra AP I could get with the change to Zhonya's. Managed to get three early kills (tried to gank me) while mid, they were far too greedy and the tower took most of their health and me the rest :) Was pretty awesome lol.
 
well the new ap items are truely insane although ive not met any decent players yet to really see the new changes... ive only had a quick go myself at ap kog and that seemed pretty decent.

been experimenting with tiger udyr and opposing team were crying nerf already. lol

Yep, just built Sheen, Boots, Edge, Bloodthirster and Frozen Mallet for survivability. Games were all pretty short so no time to fully build but something along those lines seems about right.
 
Servers down again until 1am, on a sunday, genius. I'm downloading the US client right now, will be using it as a fall back I think. Hopefully the lag won't be too bad.

I always have the US client as a backup - they don't appear to have the issues we experience

The servers are actually east coast so ping is not too bad. Looking at about 150 - 190 which is annoying but definitely playable once you get the hang of accounting for it. Also as tals already said Riot take better care of the US servers then they do for the EU so it never has any problems bar going down for the 6 hours on patch day which is nice when the EU crashes and is filled with constant chat disconnects.
 
Only got my US account to lvl 14 but there seems to be a lot less trash talk and general trolling on the US server compared to EU as well. That could be just because of the level I'm at and less smurf accounts on US though not sure.
