*says nothing of any smut* :p I daren't, I'll ruin my angelic image :o

Quick question to do with dress code in clubs as I very rarely go clubbing....I've only got shoe wise, small heels which will freeze me to death as well as look bad with trousers, otherwise I've got a pair of blue suede shoes (do NOT make any comment about the song :p) which are semi trainers but look nicer than that. Will they be ok?
 
hmm. Bring em both and we'll have a look on the night. Unless you can post a pic?

Bit difficult without seeing them.
 
Yeah, bring 'em both and then you can play it safe. Mind you, being a girl you'll probably change your mind 23 times before the event anyway :D

Me and clothes don't get on :o
Hate both clothes shops and shoe shops which'll explain why I have a grand total of 3 pairs of shoes all with a distinct purpose :D

I'm exactly the same.

Last time I went clothes shopping for a specific purpose, I asked one of the shop assistants very nicely if they'd find me some clothes that'd be suitable. 15 minutes later, I walked out of the shop with a full outfit and a pair of shoes too. That's my kind of clothes shopping :)

You're a girl. Dress codes and age limits work differently for girls:

For Girls:
If you appear over 18 and/or are showing flesh you get in. Note that only one of these conditions need apply.

For blokes:
If you appear under 21, aren't wearing whatever the bouncer considers smart dress at this instant (note just becuase you have worn the same shoes/shirt/trousers on other weeks doesn't mean it's appropriate this week), look at the bouncer funny, don't look at the bouncer, may have consumed alcohol within the last 3 years, have a tattoo, have a piercing, are the last one of a small group of blokes and your mates have all paid, look a bit like like someone who the bouncer had a disagreemenet with 6 months ago or the moon is out then there's a fair chance that you won't get in.

I'm going shopping for an outfit later ... The dress monster has eaten my favourite dress :(

Poor guy who I'm giving a lift home to is going to be dragged around the shops with me .. Mwuhahahahah !!! :D

Kaiowas, I used to work Box Office on a nightclub and was forever having to go downstairs and tell the doorstaff to look a little higher than the female's cleavage to stop letting the underage people in.
 
I'm making a rule of no Diesels or Vimtos for me. They don't do me any good in unknown surroundings, I get lost. :)

Yes I know they're awful :p But they're all I have and figure if someone's shallow enough to judge me by my shoes I don't want to know them ;)
They'll most likely be partially hidden as the trousers I'll be wearing are a bit long so probably only see the bottom half of the shoe.
 
I'd say the other ones chick - those would be too trainer like to get into the bigger clubs around here.

Might be different in Leeds of course...
