Leeds meet thread **19th Feb**

Having seen the photos and read bits of the thread, coupled with the rapidly fading memories of Swansea, I really, really should have made the effort to come up and party. *sigh* Could have said "Hi" to Roberta properly this time :(, and also possibly actually spoken to Haly (now she has had a promotion, of course) ;)

The real reason I didnt come was because I was scared of Freefaller and his "tendencies" :p
 
Good morning! :D

What a bloody fantastic night! There was drinking, dancing, posing, pole dancing (men only), the most camp version of the YMCA ever, an epic and dramatic rendition of Bonnie Tyler's Hero by 2 people who shall go unnamed, gurning, knee sliding Grease stylee (well done that man!) and some very dirty dancing by 2 men of which Stan has the evidence.
Other noteable moments were Trojan's jaw dropping when a lady bent over in Fudge with a lovely bottom cleavage (I did dare him to stick a wedge of lime in it but he wouldn't), a large blonde lady chasing one of the boys around pinching his bottom until he hid behind me, 6thElement turning out to be a babe (hold onto your knickers girls!), Xkimo being a fantastic Irish dancer with the best tattoos in the world and the fact that a double vodka and coke in The Hilton bar costs over £7.

In summary, they were the sweetest bunch of blokes I have ever met and it was a pleasure to have been there.

I'll definitely consider a North West meet, especially if most of the same people said they'd turn up, would be great to meet all you lot again. My only other regret (besides not staying longer) is that I barely spoke to some people (I barely said anything to Piggy, Desmo and Roberta I think). Will seek to rectify that next time!

I think I managed to speak to most people.

Thankfully I managed to not make a fool of myself- yay me :D

(well, at least, most of my embarassing moments were only witnessed by non forum members)

Mind, these things happen at meets where there's plenty of people. But we'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when. But I'm sure we'll meet again some sunny day :p

What a weekend !! :D

10ish hours driving in 2 days but it was sooo worth it !

People who stand out to me and I remember talking to :

Pyro - you are a nutter but also nowhere near as scary as you look
Octagon - You shall now be known as triangle to me after being demoted
Gilly - Did a cracking job of sorting our Intineray out .. well done !
Trojan - He of the mobile phone pron !! .. Hope you sorted her out
Roberta - My road trip buddy and navigator extrondanaire !! .. We even managed to get there after we discovered the M50 was closed ! .. Yes it was and I wish I had taken a picture to prove it
Freefaller - My favourite fwoggy !! .. Lovely chap who looks older with stubble !!! .. Sorry you didn't get to see Dexy but you'll get a good look of her in Kent
Desmo ... see sig *Grrrrrr!!* ;)

Chatted to lots of other people as well but I can't remember your forum names .. sorry ! ... Nice to see some old faces again and also some new ones

Oh and I would just like to apologise to everyone for taken sooo long to get ready in the afternoon ... I'm a woman what can I say ;)

3 weeks till Kent ! WOHOOO !!!! :D
