Yeah I'm the same. From reading that site it looks really good, I'm back round to excited again
 
Hope this will be good, even tho imo theres loadsa life left in l4d.

I just hope they keep the frantic nature of the original.
 
Oooh I've been thinking about getting back into the game on and off.

On a related note - there was someone in the corp I used to play with in Eve Online - think he has an account here but I forget the name - that I played Left 4 Dead with a bit who had an amazing insight into the tactics and strategy of playing the game - absolutely eye opening stuff - I really had no idea you could understand a game at that level.
 
I was amazing at this game, so many times soloing it because team mates (including the wife) letting me down.

Then 25 point jumps as zombies. I hope I still have the magic. Surprisely only 3% of players had one on steam achievements.
 
Can't believe there never was L4D3
Ask people to name best coop shooter game ever, chances are L4D will be near top
 
Valve are weird - I guess they make so much cash from Steam sales that they mostly just roll around in it, but every so often they do a thing. Like revamp a 10 year old game everyone already owns :).
 
I still dabbled now and again but finding games was a pain, And the graphics looked a bit soft. The biggest gripe is too many medkits and people able to literally run through a map.

Does it include something like 1 medkit at most? If not then a few weapons will not do anything and i never played scavage or arena in 700hrs of gametime.
 
I only play vs. New map is good, but short, 2 maps.

New animations and voice acting, plus a new electric metal version of the Tank music which is pretty sweet. Infected are a bit harder and slow you down more and SI, especially Smoker, are harder to see. Also some new achievements - a lot of them are on Survival, which is a bit crap :(

I still play it to this day, so any updates are welcome.
