Cause for concern?
I think so. Try each stick separately.
good advice..
If each stick shows errors then it's highly unlikely that both are faulty. It could be that they are not recieving the corrct voltages or the timings are incorrect. Check the manufacturers of the RAM for recommended BIOS settings. Then try again.
If one stick fails but the other doesn't then its certain to be faulty RAM.
fwiw: make sure you're pushing the right volts through vDimm. If you're set at 1.8v, DDR2, and running 4GB you're likely to end up with errors. Kick it up to 2.1v, for DDR2, or thereabouts.
Assuming, of course, you've done the 1 stick at a time test recommended above.
It hasn't been overclocked or anything although my CPU has, the timings/speed etc are all stock speeds and it's set at 2.1v as it was even more unstable at 1.8v lol. It seems to be really hot to the touch as well, seems to be hotter than it should be at stock speeds to me.
