Nothing.
When I log in to buy something as a student from my uni I put:
Uni - Chester
County - Chester
And get my discount.

Same as the FE system then, but somewhat more secure.
Nothing.

Oh, so when I install Leopard, how will I get my iLife 08? Off the tiger CD?
I don't know if you are being sarcastic or not there - was just answering your question.
You can do it from home for the basic education discount - but the higher education has to be done from within the university network (so it is on there IP range).

I'm currently a student. I'm about to buy a MBP with the student discount. I will cease being a student in July 08. Do you suggest I pay the difference when I stop being a student?
Panzer
Once you graduate you must immediately uninstall Leopard and burn the discs.
If you buy your MBP after the 26th, it will come with leopard with ilife 08 already. If you buy a mbp before the 26th, you will get Tiger with a set of tiger discs, with the ability to upgrade to leopard for £5.95What am I supposed to do if I don't have the Tiger CD? I would like to do a fresh install when I get my MBP but I don't want to lose iLife 08. Seems a bit silly to me...

Shame the "continue playback" feature seems to have gone
NOOOOOOO!!!!!!
It will be on the OS disc that come with your mac. So if you got leopard with it, it will be on the leopard disc.Cheers scythe, I'm buying after the 26th to get Leopard.
the point I got confused on was someone said iLife 08 didn't come with Leopard but it came pre-installed on the computer. If I want to re-install Leopard when I get the MBP I don't want to lose iLife.
Do they give you an iLife disc the same way they give you a Leopard disc?
Panzer
So Leopard does come with iLife 08..
I'm confused about this, someone said it didn't, but i'm pretty sure it does?
