Let the games begin....

I wouldn't want a WP7 phone for work, it's too new and initially aimed at the consumer market.

When's the contract up? Can you hold on for the m.Atrix? :)

Think the next update (ie not the feb one with C&P) is supposed to add a lot more business oriented stuff IIRC.

The issue with not downloading images automatically is a double edged sword really. It's great when you have little signal yet it's a little annoying when you have full signal and have to download each emails images manually.

Never had the "download unsuccessful" issue yet, except in places with very poor signal. What's it related to as it's the first time I've heard of it.

EDIT: Oh, as for Omnia 7 size it is a tiny bit bigger than the iPhone 4 (1 mm thicker and a couple of mm longer). Guess that's no use if you don't know how big an iPhone 4 is...:p

it does it on both handsets, both over 3G and WiFi. Are you using exchange ?

There are a few bugs but the way it handles emails is second to none so far, exactly like outlook! Looks more polished than android.

What is m.Atrix?

The Motorola Atrix runs both Android and a lightweight Linux desktop OS when docked (that comes with the full Critix client, firefox 3.6, file explorer, android desktop window etc)

If your 20 guys mainly use virtual desktops via laptops they'll love this :)

+ laptop dock (or phone charger :D)

(Powering all that it a 1GHz dual core ARM A9, 1GB DDR2, 16GB nand + 32GB removable)

Still bedding in with them atm, I do quite like Windows Phone 7 from a purely business point of view, other than the few previously mentioned bugs, it does just work and look good doing it. The less technically inclined staff are getting on better than with android, but mainly because there is less for them to attempt to do!

Desire HD does seem nice but i cant see the major benefit over the Desire bar a bigger but inferior (non-amoled) screen.

I thought all Desires used SLCD screens now anyway due to the shortage of AMOLED ones?

hmm, a "friend" has just tried an account on his iphone 4 for me, and it bloomin works.

What i have been advised that add more than 1 or 2 and things start to fall over, not sure how reliable this info is though now!

Pretty un-reliable I'd guess. Orange back office staff all have access to our exchange server via phone across pretty much every handset we sell. Numbers are probably >2k for android and iphone each but it's also used by everything from old nokias via Mail4Exchange to new un-released handsets. Exchange Protocol is pretty robust, it's hard to break. Bet Orange would beat the prices you're getting from Voda btw ;)

Do you work for orange?

I work in a technical division of EverythingEverywhere, our joint company for orange/tmob. I should have been more open rather than trying pimp us out sorry, I'll be more neutral going forwards.
