lets talk wallets!

Serious question: do I need to get one of these new RFID protection wallets to stop the internet stealing my money?

I instinctively thought that stingray skin was more distasteful than leather... but it's not really, is it?

I once had my own stingray cadaver, which I did skin. I called him stingy.

I personally find eBay good for finding wallets.

You can find the exact style you want, for reasonable quality, for a good price. I personally never spend more than £15 on a wallet, I don't see the point.

Not that I have much money, what with the wife controlling everything :p

I have my trusty Eastpack wallet. Not a fan of leather wallets and like having a zip.

Coins in pocket where they belong, then in coin jar when you get home. Wish cash would die. Cash is only used for drunk nights out and chip shop. Everywhere else is easy to use card.

My Ted Baker wallet has started to fail. The most used card slots have exposed some glue on the edges which catch the card when taking one out. It takes some faff now to take out my Shell card and the edge has faint glue residue.

So much for "you get what you pay for" eh.

I've got a Ben Sherman thing, cost about £30 (with a free keyring, woot) about 13 years ago now. Spent every day since in my back pocket.... The leather inside is starting to get a bit cracked and some of the decorative stitching is fraying but it's had about 70,000 hours being sat on....it's luck I think, but I don't think a designer brand guarantees any sort of quality

I've got a simple black leather one from River Island that I paid about a fiver for, tis grand. One good thing about it hough is that it doesn't have a button on the inside which breaks my bank cards and the like when I sit on it.

Seems Luton is in the stone age where you can only pay cash for most public transportation.

Used to get mine from the local market, but the "leather" always used to flake off over time. Got this current one from Next for £5-10(can't remember which) and it's lasting much better.
