Couldn't agree more, the very first time he opened his mouth after arriving in F1 was enough to make me dislike him.

It was nice they did it like that rather than the usual driver on a bar stool deal. He seems genuinely happy to have left all that **** behind.

I also think he genuinely believes he will be able to do what he said, and become the next Schumacher/Ferrari partnership.

Personally, I don't believe it, but I think he does, and he knows more than me.
 
Thought it was an alright interview, he did seem pretty relaxed. Was a great time though over 1 sec faster.

It's strange how that car seems to be getting faster almost every go :p

You could time it right of the cameras frame counter. They might do that for these *tight* races.
 
It's not like arrogance for F1 drivers is a new thing at the top level. Mika and maybe Damon are probably the only champions of the last 25 years that haven't been overly arrogant at times.

I neither liked or disliked him until a friend of mine had a run in with him, weirdly enough he now avoids said friend :lol:
 
unlike previous shows this series, there has been laughter and they were interesting.

this episode imo sucked.

why? because it was clear as day a bodge job of bits taken here n there. the astra montage was good IMO, but the lewis intiview i think was laking a spark, look back when he first was on people were fanatic about him there this time it was serious.
 
Didn't get that impression at all, sorry.

Maybe it was lacking explosive caravans? They did blow up a Vectra if that makes up for it? :D

To be fair, he wasn't really there to plug anything unlike most celebs. They did talk about his Mercedes move, and a bit of handbrake action (Keke?! :eek:) but really the only reason he was there was to try to beat his time, and I think they decided to allow people just to accept that.
