LFD2 banned in Australia

Retards. How do these people end up running the country?

Glad to see it is now going ahead but they shouldn't have to edit anything.

I am pretty sure most Australians have the ability to comprehend the difference between a zombie game and real life and are not going to go around shooting each other because they saw it on a game.

You would have thought now all the rubbish about horror movies has calmed down that they would treat this the same and be like, we were wrong last time, lets not do it again but no. It's pure stupidity.

Got to remember that they are all born of criminals over there . . . .

What a bunch of ignorant ******* you all are!

Don't worry about it, just play Left For Dead 2 when it's released and it will make you feel better.

Oh wait! :p

Seriously, I feel it is pretty bad you guys are missing out on so many games. Some that are banned aren't even violent!

Australia is getting pretty scary in terms of their laws on this sort of thing. They seem to want their internet setup to be modelled on China or Myanmar too.

Anyway, Australians will still be able to buy it on Steam, they'll just have to pay in USD rather than AUD.

Various studies have found shooters are not about killing but surviving, (an inherent instinct) if you are at all normal you enjoy this survival aspect rather than the pure psychopathic aspect of imagining you are killing something/someone.

If violent computer games actually had ANY impact on our psyches I think there would be a WHOLE lot more senseless murders and beatings by confused gamers that just want some caffeine
