Which is what will happen here. That item at that price will never come back in stock. If you want it you will have to pay 2300 euros.
 
PC monitor industry is such a joke. My X34p is trash compared to my OLED. It's biggest value is that I can do split screen nicely compared to my old 3008wfp.

Wtf if a "HDR400?" Let's just make up terms so little billy thinks he's getting a HDR monitor. Don't forget the trash black levels which kill any contrast ratio. Was that LG who decided to lock the monitor into wide color gamut mode for over saturation on a flagship model?

Yesterday in a hardware unboxed Q/A Tim recommended that people toggle the FALD on a flagship model to remove halo's depending on what they're doing. How about instead calling out the industry on producing poor panels?

As much as we spend on our toys, the screen at which you're looking is what should ultimately matter. Yet that's where the industry is putting out mediocrity and charging a premium.

When the item is available again for purchase, you can order it again from our website. If the original item was cheaper when you made your first order, please contact me again. I will then refund you the difference.

While it will be great if they do honour this, I often find the people you speak with there need approval from higher ups before they can action certain things, despite their best intentions, and a refund of 700 Euros would definitely require that. But cross your fingers, you might get lucky.

Again good luck with that. I have bought many high value mispriced items from AMazon. Some I actually got, some I got the same line as you got and guess what, they never came back in stock ever so they didnt have to fulfill their promise.

Longest one was a year later and Amazon emailed me suggesting I cancel the order as it was unlikely to ever come back into stock.

I hope it does but sometimes you will find its a different listing or something small has changed. Like I said, sometimes I got my stuff from amazon, other times two years later they still didnt have stock yet the entire rest of the internet did.

I am just suggesting dont rely on it. Its odd they have cancelled your order though, I had an order for over a year for an out of stock item. They dont normally do that unless they intend to never deliver.

That is true, but its still the same monitor and I have the right to get it at the price I pre-ordered it at, atleast that is how swedish consumer rights work in Sweden, and should be almost if not the same in Germany.
A email where they promise to honour the price should be enough to win in court, not that I am gonna take it to court.

Problem with that is by using Amazon you agreed to their conditions of sale which state:

"Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalogue may be mispriced. We will verify pricing when processing your order and before we take payment. If we have made a mistake and a product's correct price is higher than the price on the website, we may either contact you before dispatch to request whether you want to buy the product at the correct price or cancel your order."
 
Is this monitor ever going to be released?I have a new build planned for end of September to coincide with new FIFA.. Sept 19th..I need this to replace my x34

I just don't see it being released by then which is a she
