Now we're talking! This is pretty much my ideal monitor in terms of aspect ratio and resolution.

My only reservation here is how the OLED panel deals with text as 80%+ of my usage will be productivity.
I've always had reservations about this as it's generally been an issue but I'm hoping this RGWB subpixel layout they're touting will help somewhat.
@Baddass is there any more info on this in particular?

I do like the sounds of it but I have a feeling it will be like 800 more bucks CAD than like a C2 or something like that

I know I started this thread but I'm actually more interested in the Odyssey G7 40" now, due to LCD being more suited to my needs and what looks like a more relaxed curve than the LG.
 
Pushes more people into buying the motorised one which is going to be £££. I think it's a cool feature, but being the miserable **** I am, I just see that as something else that could go wrong.

You could take comfort in that once you've messed with the novelty of it, you will set it to what you like and then never change it again potentially?

Yeah it's a consideration. I think if I did pay the premium I'd probably make a point of using it. Likely to be a significant price bump so I'd want to get the value out of the purchase.
 
Yeah. I think it’s this week. When I shared the link (that I removed in an edit) it was listed at £1799 but then it changed to the 3440x1440 version.

I thought I went mad, but just followed the link at TFTCentral and it made me feel like the synapses might be more intact than I first thought.
