That sounds like a right mare! It's all over the place, especially in certain territories. If you're in the US, no problem, even on sale.
Had two orders in the jungle for a couple months, and was about to cancel the whole idea last week and moved towards a 4K option and finally got a dispatch email from Germany.
Still not out of the woods yet though, it arrived at a facility in Spain, sat there for 4 days, arrived in Germany and it's been sat there since Weds (which was the day due for delivery in Ireland). Hasn't budged an inch since then and now has a come back for refund if it doesn't show up by the 2nd week of July.
Hi, sorry it's taken some time to get back to you. I've got an Anker USB switch which is working excellently. I have a macbook pro connected to it via USB-C and my desktop PC via USB-A, both the keyboard and mouse are connected to it via USB-A. The switch is supposed to also have DC power via USB-C supplied, (doesn't come with the product), but I've not bothered and it still works with no stability issues and my keyboard and mouse are logitech cabled gaming level kit so do draw a bit of power for the lighting on both.Hi mate, have you set up a kvm and if so, what did you got for?. Any further update on the screen
nice one thanks mate. I will have a look at the Anker USB switch. Glad your enjoying the monitorHi, sorry it's taken some time to get back to you. In terms of the screen itself, I've been using it regularly for work and it's not taken much time to get used to the curve at all.
In fact due to the hot weather the whole family watched a movie on it yesterday in my air conned office and we were sat 3 metres from the screen and no member of the family even commented about the curve of the screen.
I thoroughly recommend the screen, remembering that I've never had an OLED screen before, so don't know if I'm missing anything on the brightness front.
I have wandered around Selfridges and gone to the Samsung area and find the OLED gaming screens there a bit too bright and glossy for my tastes.
Is it the Dell U4025QW? Looking forward to your thoughts.Well I gave up waiting for the 45" LG 5k2k and took delivery of the Dell 40" Ultrasharp today (previous ultrawide was a 49" G9).
Not had a chance to fully configure everything but wow the difference in text clarity is night and day. I think it'll take a short while to adjust back to IPS from OLED but as this will primarily be for work and productivity I have no regrets so far.
Will report back in a few more days but so far so good.
Oh and the number of connections is insane...need to figure out best way to utilise the built in dock for KVM.
The front pop-out with 2 x usb-c and 1 x usb-a is super convenient for charging the keyboard lol.
What are people's thoughts on gpu for this monitor? 4090 / 5090 only viable options?
Yep that's the one.Is it the Dell U4025QW? Looking forward to your thoughts.
Yep that's the one.
So far really impressed with it, can't fault anything just yet!
Can't comment much on the gaming side of things because I have primarily bought this for work/productivity, for which pixel response times is not really anything to factor in.As I'm 80% productivity, I was very interested in this monitor also but the lacklustre reviews of its gaming performance put me off.
Not so much that it's only 120Hz as that's more than enough for me but more the pixel response times.
Would be interested to hear your thoughts on this.
OLED is definitely amazing, for work or gaming!
Thank you for the heads up.Just been on the LG site and it now shows Pre-Order.
