LG Flatron W2600HP 26

Everyone should take the refund and notification option. These monitors are not going to show up atthe original price anyway.
I am now waiting for the rumoured Acer 23.62 1920x1080 120hz screen... might be released just before Xmas... ( prays ) :-)
 
If I went for a refund, I'd end up spending it on other stuff since I can't actually find a monitor that fits my specs for £300.
1920x1080 just doesn't cut it for me, by the time you factor in the start bar at the bottom and all the usual gumpf bars at the top of windows, vertical viewing area will be too annoying for side by side page views.

Any news? I've sent you a message through your internal mail system two weeks ago and still no reply to that either. Please reply.
 
I think time has proven that this isn't the issue. If LG took an order from OCUK (LG or their distri) for this monitor at this price and then reneged on the deal OCU should have hotten a resolution on this by now, even if they were forced to take them to court.

This is not really our problem though, we didn't order from LG, OCUK did, thats part of their problem. We ordered from OCUK in god faith based on the advice from Slackworth (Adam) in this very thread. OCUK were given opportunity to check they had gotten this right, they assured us they had and we placed an order and paid for this monitor (this is a contract). So far OCUK have failed to fulifil their obligations within this contract. The pertinent question is why?

Somebody made a serious error on this, and it wasn't us the customers.
 
when this problem arose their was stock around in the supply chain according to a competitor who claimed. via their website, to have stock.

I'm seriously thinking OCUK have forgotten about this or chosen to do so.

Exactly that I'm afraid. LG have no stock available whatsoever and can't even supply a date as to when they will. They barely even have enough stock of the TN panels.

It's up to you guys of course as to what you want to do but I'm not confident LG will ever be able to supply us based on their current efforts.
