I would like to install an EVGA Hybrid in the case, but I do not know if the card fits because of the hoses. According to the manufacturer, the graphics card may be max. 159mm high - that will be tight, also because of the power connections.
Does anyone have the case and can please measure the distance between motherboard (somewhere from the surface - not from a PCI slot) to the beginning of the side window? Should be about 170mm... Then I can measure the overall height with a graphic card installed in a PCI slot.
Many Thanks in advance!

Both I and CraigN have this case with the EVGA 1080ti hybrid FTW3 installed.

I believe CraigN managed to get the card in with the rad placed at the bottom.

Have a look under the “new products page” I think it’s called, (towards the top of the main forum landing page) there’s a 23 page long forum topic with some pics in regards to this case.

(Taking into consideration that we are going through a hot spell in the UK)

For me and what I’ve found:

I’ve not currently got a riser, so the cards installed as per normal.

The temps aren’t great with the rad at the bottom (I feel) so I did move the rad onto the vertical mount which was a stretch (for the tubes). This gave me better temps.

However, a few problems. The heat gets pushed back into the back compartment. If you take the side panel off I see a drop in GPU temps slightly (sometimes it’s 5-7 c.)

Another issue - the tubes from the top of the hybrid card have pushed against the tempered glass so much that the tempered glass has come away from the side. Basically the side panel has two main parts - the tempered glass and a metal frame that is glued on and then the metal frame slots into the side of the case.

My original setup was the Kraken X62 280 cooler at the top (didn’t leave space for the EVGA hybrid rad at the top) and the hybrid GPU on the side mount.

I’ve moved on from that. I’ve installed and am running an EK custom water loop on the cpu. EK 360 rad on the side mount and have the EVGA hybrid rad at the top. Still a work in progress as I’ve not got around too gluing down the side panel yet (tempered glass to the metal frame).

I’ll prolly keep the system like that until the new GPUs come out then water cool the GPU.

I’m sure there will be people that don’t agree with this but if I had to do it again, I would go full custom water loop or have an AIO on the CPU and get a fan cooled card. AIO GPUs in this case, I feel, have their issues from pipes that stick out too far to rad placement issues cause of tube lengths.

Those are my current thoughts.

Just ordered the white one, it'll be here later today, can't wait

How are you finding your new case?

Great case if I'm honest, I like the way the motherboard sits forward enough so i can hide the wires. Fan cooled atm but will look into water cooling as i have seen some fantastic looking builds which are water cooled. will you be water cooling or air cooling?
the black case blends in nice with my black table also, so almost looks like it was build into the case. will post some pictures when i get home from work. my only small, tiny issue was not having a DVD drive bay. but i brought a usb dvd drive so problem solved.

did you go with the -

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £119.80 (includes shipping: £9.90)

was meaning to ask if this has any benefit at all cooling wise or is it just cosmetic. will looking into getting this tho as i don't like the way the card sags at the back, looks like it needs to be propped up the riser would sort that issue.

with all the glass on the case and everything inside it does get heavy. But great case was fun building it also

PICS! :D

i think gamersnexus did review with the AIR version, and having the GPU mounted on the Riser kit did lower gpu temps slightly

https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/3336-lian-li-o11-air-case-review-benchmarks

also ordered generic DEMCIflex 360 filter to mount on the bottom, see how airflow goes, should be improvement

DEMCIflex 360 filter case had 2 filters i took the one at the top off not sure if they are the same ones.

didnt like the AIR version at all.

I set mine as air coming up from the bottom 3 fans where it is cooler and 3 on the side coming in, Put the rad at the top to act like an exhaust

loving the case, going to look into water cooling.

air/dynamic ones are quite restrictive , noticed even through Silent wing 3 High RPM fans at max with a very high static pressure it effects the flow .
Like you, have removed the top one. left the bottom and side ones for now. Will slap on the DEMCI one at the bottom and see how that gets on . Fans at the side are barely on with mine

do the DEMCIflex filters use magnet power to stay in place or it is a glue/sticky (ie... filter once fitted cannot be removed)

The pics of the filters on OcUK make it look like it is sticky.

The filters come with the sticky frame with attached to the main frame via both magnetic frames. If you don't need to stick it down, you separate the sticky frame from the main body frame (with filter ) and the slap it on the case .
The filters unit just fits on the top with the top panel on !
Big difference in air flow !

Moved mine to the bottom as will order more and board sensors dropped 5c all around

I REALLY like this case (especially the white one) but my cpu is cooled with an AIO water cooler and my graphics card is air cooled. Am I mad for considering this? I don't really like the air version.

Is the best place for an AIO radiator in the top or the side? I’ve got an H105 in the side at the moment but with only 2 out of 4 fans connected (don’t have enough fan splitters at the moment for my usual push-pull setup)
Aesthetically, I prefer it at the side but would be willing to put it up top if the performance was worth it.

To be fair, when loaded with 9 fans , where ever you put the AIO - it'll still perform well :)
Just go what's easiest for you and aesthetically pleases yourself
