i want the case regardless - but i really would like to watercool internally

do you think its a no go?

yup definatley, you have the following areas:

1) top, you can attach the rad on the top(inside) with ease, plent of space up there :)
2) front, where 5 1/4 inch bays are, you will fit a 120.2 easily if you dont mind sacrificing your optical drive / bays.
3) If you remove both HD racks and use the 5 1/4 bays for your HD's you will fit a 120.2 rad EASY on the bottom.

i like the idea of having a 120.2 at the bottom and cutting holes facing downwards, or using the same rad in the front where the optical drives would normally go and just pull air in from the bezels.

I'm really relluctant to cut any holes that would be viewable in a case lik this, it would ruin the looks imo to have say, three 120mm holes in the top for a 120.3, i just couldn't bring myself to do it.

I may go for a dualie 120.2 in both places i mentioned :)

cool - thats all i needed to know

i know i might be better off with a different case

was just going to get a cosmos s but i couldnt pass this beauty up!

agreed!
thats why im wondering weather its a goer

was getting the case anyway - if the watercooling didnt fit i would have sold the parts i have and got a TRUE

good to hear there are a few more options though

thanks for the reply jonnylaris - really helpful!

Great thread guys, can someone do a quick measurment for me? Im after the one from top of MB to top of case (inside).
Many thanks.

Jonnylaris did you have any problem lining your mobo with the blanking plate at the back of the case?

I have posted in a different thread that mine doesnt line up and I cant access the I/O on the back.......

Hi dude,
I also had the same problem of the motherboard not lining up properly with the blanking plate.

I sorted it by putting the motherboard screws furthest from the blanking plate in first. I just put them in loosely first, that just left the 2 or 3 screws nearest the blanking plate, which were now offset.
To get these to line up, I gently prised the motherboard up from the bottom with a screwdriver, until i could fit the screws.

This problem is mentioned on some of the user reviews on newegg.

Also I had the lack of hard drive screw problem too (minr came with 4 hard drive screws :()

Not forgetting the problem I have with the right panel making a humming sound (bluetack didn't work).

Thanks Shaolin Chicken, that all sounds very useful :) I will be giving that a try tonight cause the last thing I really want to do is return the case.

4 HDD!? I must have got about 20 :) You would think that for the money we pay they could at least get simple things like that correct

Not had the humming sound, but then again I haven't switched it on yet, so I bound to find out whether thats gonna be a problem soon enough.

Thanks again!

jonnylaris I noticed you routed the mobo power connector behind the motherboard tray and through the gap in the top left corner before plugging it in.

I tried this, but then decided it didn't look like the side of the case would go on? (back side, for want of a better word!)

yea i did, dont worry about the side panel it will go on no probs!

and dont worry about squashing the cables either, you wont damage them even if you have to stand on the side panel to get it to close :)

When i get in the house tonight I will upload more pics of the right side.
