LiE's Diet and Training Thread

That'll work too! I'll give that ago, will be easier to do as I can just jump on. Too many bros doing shrugs on the smith machines :p

I don't usually come in this section of the forum but I'm just looking around bored and came across this thread, I must say its very helpful. I've been on a diet over the past 3 years and in about 2 weeks time I should hit my goal weight of 11st, which means I would have lost a total of 6st. Then I'm gonna start building muscle, taking shakes etc (I've only been doing cardio).

I'm afraid I might be pestering for advice over the coming months!

No worries, you'll get plenty of advice from our resident gym ratz. Probably best to post in the gym ratz thread to get the most replies/help.

Good job on losing 6st, that's some weight!

Time to get those abs destroyed :) pretty good for £10.

Over the weekend had some nice bicep/leg/chest doms which I haven't had in a while. I think I managed to hit a decent calorie count for sat and sun which I'm pleased with.

Slept in a little longer than I intended this morning so because I was tired I had my first shake upon waking and moved my eggs/bacon/toast to 10.30 meal time.

Tonight is shoulders and triceps, looking forward to it.

I was thinking of buying an ab wheel because I seriously neglect core workouts. It's partially because I find planks so bloody boring to do.

Let us know if there is any reason why you wouldn't recommend that one.

Given it a little go on the carpet at home, does the job nicely. Grips are foam so nice and comfy and it's very solid so no wobbling.

Complete junk? I do have my fair share of poor dinners, but I do hit my macros during the day.

I train hard, so all the 'junk' goes to good use.

That kind of stuff isn't necessarily bad.

I've been having loads of piri piri turkey burgers recently, buns plastered with butter too. I'm still losing weight.

Ate a batch of home made buffalo wings (almost 1kg worth), still weighed less the next day.

I'm not saying that's ideal, but there are worse things to be eating than burgers and pizza. Quantities are also very important.

Tonight's shoulder/tricep session was lovely. The shoulder pump was so ridiculous at the end it was agony! Doing CGBP with fried shoulders was fun, also dropped bench dips because they are just bad for my shoulders - replaced with normal dips. Finished off with some shoulder/hamstring/pec stretches. The intensity level is great at the moment, doing quite a lot of super sets so I'm really getting my conditioning in.
