Linglong

Considering how much better I did than some on the surprise left hander at the last meet, the slating of P6000s is way exaggerated.

LOL that was rather tight wasn't it.. There was an ambulance coming the other way, I was hoping I wouldn't interface with it!

Apparently I've got ***** tyres on my Bravo, they just came with the car. May explain why every time I gun it in second the tyres just spin up smoke :(

If P6000's were in the budget tyre category I don't think they would get the slating they do. The fact is for the performance they give (or rather don't) they are somewhat overpriced.

I hear yours are made for the road, rather than bridges. ;)

Ah, just got it. Yeah cheap ripoffs it seems.

Would a quality set of tyres make a big difference in grip? The one issue I have with the car is its tricky to put all the power down without wheelspinning and keeping it under control.

Vig was telling me how someone commented that your tyres are Roadstone or something, and someone said they are built for roads unlike Bridgestones that are blatantly made for bridges.

Ninja edit ;)

New from the dealer with those fitted?

If so, NICE!

Car was second hand from a main dealer, it had a different set of alloys and tyres on when I went to look at it and I asked them to swap the alloys with another car they had there (was also a 150T Bravo), didn't check to see what the tyres were on either car tbh.

Don't engage warp factor 11 soo quickly, should help you get more traction off the asteriod in future :D

Get some new tyres, then keep those as spare just in case.

That was me :p I did find the Roadstones quite funny. Excuse me while I go and get a set of Goodmonths :p

What you suggest I buy then?

Tyres are 225/45/Z/R17?

i have conti sportcontact 3s and i like them rather a lot.
having said that, i'm sure a large percentage of the über grip i encounter is from the 4wd, rather than the tyres :o

although they are bloody good
