I heard it was delayed because Cliff Richard complained that there was a cliff in the game and people could fall off it and lose a life which portrays him in an unfavourable light.
I read about it on www.supertenuousgamingrumourmill.com
Well done for being 26mins behind Wossi![]()
There's no smoke without fire?well you know what they says about rumors......
Damn, that will be annoying as someone gave me a Kratos code
I ordered anyway,
It's £33.48 at one place delivered and £32.99 at another. Ordered at more expensive place as they ship faster, normally.

The 32.99 is with the expediated delivery. I have not used them since they added that function so no idea what the speed is like (they quote 5-9 working days). Dunno when they will ship or have in stock, e-mailed them, awaiting reply, hope it is quicker than their delivery times.I paid a pound more from the cheaper place for faster delivery! knowing my luck it will get a dealy in the US lol. Theres going to be millions of EU PS3 owners messaging that kid from SCEE forums!
The release of Sony's highly anticipated PlayStation 3 title LittleBigPlanet has been delayed in Europe.
The title has been delayed due to references to the Qu'ran on the in-game soundtrack.
"During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur'an," admitted the company in a statement.
"We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologise for any offence that this may have caused."
The game was due for release next week, October 24, but now some retailers are estimating the game may be delayed by three weeks until November 14.
However, GamesIndustry.biz understands that the title may not suffer such a long delay to retail, and a new date is expected to be announced by Sony next week.
LittleBigPlanet has reviewed incredibly well in the specialist press and anticipation is high from consumers who have already had access to the beta of the game.
Sony has said that the game is a system seller for the PlayStation 3, and the title is considered one of the most important releases for the home console this Christmas.
So the one little (insert random word here) on the EU forum got upset because of two lines that could have come from the Qur'an. So can i get a game recalled if it contains words from the Bible? Or is it only non Christian religions that get special treatment? Mini rant over
I wonder how many Levels are going to be made (and removed quickly) that involves this ?
Anyway at least it will give me more time to play the Res 2 beta lol,

We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologise for any offence that this may have caused.
We will confirm the new launch date shortly.
We’ll keep you updated with further information as soon as we get it.
UPDATE
We’ve just been informed by SCEE that the delay to release is effective worldwide.
I doubt it was just that one kid, plus it's on the internet now so it will be millions of kids eventually! (I dunno if that person's original post was before or after some retailers started e-mailing out delay e-mails.) There is a new thread on the PS3 forums that hasn't been closed, yet:

Personally (I read a few incidents of similar happening in games) due to the very mainstream nature of games these days, they have to be careful of cultural or religious references just like other forms of media. Whilst I don't condone the hysteria that will no doubt ensue over a mistake (which Sony Q&A should have picked up) If the translations are correct, it's not exactly wholesome language.

LittleBigPlanet will be remastered in order to remove a track from the game that contained two expressions found in the Qur'an. Whilst shorter expressions from the Qur'an are sometimes used in Nasheeds, we are aware that the mixing of musical instruments with recognisable extracts from the Qur'an is offensive to Muslims. Therefore, we have taken immediate action to rectify this. We will confirm a new launch date shortly.

Man the Tabloids are going to have a Field day with this one! It will be another "freedom" taking away from the general public![]()
HahahaImportant Notice: Sony Take Note!
I am aware that at some stage during the Story Mode of LBP (LittleBigPlanet) you can unlock a Zebra costume to dress your Sackboy.
I find this deeply insulting as do many of the Zebra loving community. We hail the Zebra as a religous emblem and as a sacred animal and for it to be paraded around LittleBigPlanet has already angered many of my community.
The "slap" action has been used towards a Sackboy dressed as a Zebra, implying you show no respect to our sacred animal. This is an issue which should be looked into.
Sincerely
