well guys, just bought this and CoD WaW today, BLP is still in its plastic wrapper! Im looking forward to this, dont know what to expect, but add me anyway!! i shall join u guys when i have played it :)

I have to say that I have never been a fan of platform games, but I'm enjoying the single player levels more than I have enjoyed any other game recently - they are just superbly designed and the music rocks :)

The bunker and the level after that are impossible to ace as far as i'm concerned. The big turney wheel of doom is just too frustrating to be worth it :(, shame really as i was so close to acing them all.
 
I hope MM release an add-on soon with some more 'official' levels. Most online ones at the moment seem to be trying to emulate a game show, computer game or something, rather than being full of swings, jumps and platforming.

I agree that many online levels have been very simple, however it is worth considering that it's probably taken quite a long time for the official levels to be made so in turn unofficial ones won't be instant. I've found 2/3 that i would class as 'proper' levels, one to look out for is the 'asure temple' iirc, it even has two different endings :eek:
 
I can't believe you guys are thinking levels that are up to the MM standards would be out within a week of release. Give it 2-3 months and you'll start seeing mind blowing levels.
 
Mine came this morning, played it for a few hours earlier, I absolutely adore it!
I was looking for a game to give me a break from Pro Evo when I'm gettign a bit of 'Be a Legend' fatigue and this is just the tonic!
Some of the user levels I played are really great, I look forward to putting some of my own together! :D
 
hey guys need some advice; this game is only loading for me @ 576p resolution, its supposed to support 720p. My monitor has hdmi and supports 1080p, is there anyway i can get around this to get it to 720p? there are no settings in game. when it goes back to the xmb everything is 1080p??!! Any suggestions would be great, thanks!!

edit: all soted now, didnt realise i needed 72-p option ticked in display settings as i thought it was upscaled to 1080p.

i find it to be an ok game (not a great one).
but it's got the wife interested in using the PS3 and that has to be a good thing as she is usually playing Sims or Carnival games on Wii.

thats just a few days sales of LBP though, Fable 2 has been out a little while longer.
