i agree however the one thing i would say is this........... I think the biggest tool this government has at the moment would be discouraging people from voting by making them think their vote was worthless. if ever there was a time to get out and vote - even in the completely safe seats - i think it will be the next election (no matter who it is you want to vote for) of course like i said, a lot can change in 2 years. .............. we (as a country) also have a short memory.Unsure if there is or not, just that this area has been blue for a long time and last election was blue by a fairly big margin.
We need a PR system, compromise and cooperation. Two party system sucks balls, USA is even worse than here.
imagine England win the WC, we have a mild winter with no blackouts, the ukraine war ends and energy settles down again and the economy improves slightly under Sunak.
It is possible this last 12 months or so will be forgotten. (and people are easily fooled that the last 5 years were all the fault of external forces)
