LMP Cars 2015

They've been doing it for years on GT Academy. It used to be an experiment to see if Playstation driving gamers could actually race a real car, turned out many of them could and it's now a common route up to GT racing.

It was a bit early in the race for that, but it was certainly Raikkonen's best race up until that point.

I'm not convinced it was Chilton's fault anyway - I don't think it was caught on camera, but far more likely Raikkonen was weaving to warm his tyres while Chilton was coming back through the pack.
 
The Oreca 05 LMP2 car was revealed last week. Looks utterly baddass in bare carbon.

Shame the future of P2 is a bit uncertain due to rules changes, because these closed-cockpit cars look GREAT and go really well.
 
More LMP2 cars in bare carbon...

Ligier P2 is back. Debut was last year so it's going to have had a few improvements. It was a great looking car last year and still is:

HPD ARX 04b is all-new by the looks of it. Another closed-cockpit, Acura V6 powerplant. Looks like it's had roid-rage steroid powder sprinkled over it etc:

Those LMP2 cars look mean as! I am looking forward to the WEC this year.

Is anyone going to the opener in Silverstone next month?
 
Had a trip booked to Silverstone but it's been cancelled.

Toying with the original idea of going to Spa, but not sure I can get the time off to manage it... Anyone have any idea what kind of travel costs to expect if I do manage to go for it?
