Logitech and their Astuonding Customer Service

You should have got an automated response pretty quickly saying they will reply within on business day or something - they were pretty quick to respond after that.

I bought my mouse from OCUK and it was just over a year old and they replaced it (G500) with a G500s - I made sure i filled in all the product serial no's etc

I got the auto reply saying they would get back withing 48hours (working hours?) but had no proper reply yet.

Just got an answer and was told that my product had been previously registered so I am not the original owner and they can do nothing about it.

I bought the item new from Amazon so I have to deal with their crap CS now!

Wow, I just experienced some of their astounding customer service too.

I bought a Logitech LX 710 (KB/mouse set) over 4 years ago, two weeks ago the mouse broke (left click stopped working), I emailed them but because it's so old, and I didn't have the receipt I expected no help. However, they told me to send the mouse to them, free postage so nothing to lose. Today, 10 days later, a brand new MK710 keyboard/mouse set turns up. :D

I'd like to know this too. I've had my logitech G5 for six years now and it's still solid but the coating has worn away at parts. I can't bring myself to get a new mouse after all these years gaming with it but going to their customer services with a six year old product is taking the **** a bit :D

I can't even remember when I bought my Logitech mouse, it's been so long. It's so old that the plastic buttons have discoloured where my fingers go, but it's still working perfectly. It was the pretty much the bottom of their range, too, just a simple mouse. My keyboard is probably the same age and the only indication that it isn't brand new is that the tab key is very slightly darker than the other keys. Coffee stain, I think. The keyboard doesn't just look like new - it still feels like new when typing.

That's why Logitech can offer such a level of service when their stuff breaks - it hardly ever breaks.

Potterton impressed me with customer service this week. I had a Potterton boiler installed 13 months ago. It's started to leak a little, just a couple of drops per hour. Still working fine, but clearly something is wrong. Potterton didn't do the installation, but I rang them anyway because I had their number so I thought I'd start there. The installer was a subcontractor hired by British Gas and I didn't have their number. I thought it most likely that Potterton would refer me to the installer, but it was worth the cost of a phone call. Potterton immediately offered to send an engineer first thing in the morning (it was evening when I rang). No quibbles, no passing the buck, no equivocation. Their name on the warranty, their problem.

I used to use logitech for everything but changed in the past few years. Went with a Corsair keyboard (K90, this is excellent) and a Razer mouse. Wouldnt ever use Razer again. Horrible quality for what is an overpriced product

My 5 year old DiNovo Edge keyboard began cutting out. Emailed them and within a few hours they arranged for it to be sent back and a brand new replacement sent out. Very happy.

Are they really that good then? I've had a couple of dodgy Logi products but never bothered getting them fixed by support. Where do you have to send off to, or do they collect/pre-pay etc?

I had those Z5500 speakers and the unit started to go which was a known fault but I had them for maybe 3-4 years so out of the warranty. They said they couldn't replace it because it was so far out of warranty but instead offered me 50% off code for their website instead. Stuff on their site is more expensive than every where else mind but I ended up getting a G25 wheel for something like £120 instead. Granted I still gave them money but I had wanted one for a while and they didn't have to offer me anything at all.

Key fell off my Logitech Illuminated Keyboard which I purchased in Jun-11, my "S" key fell off, it's being replaced in the next 24/48 hours :)

Good result.

Had the same thing. G400 mouse packed in after 10 months, sent me a G400S without asking for the original back, the new one turned up, was brand new but some of the paint had been scuffed off in the factory, I was happy to keep it but mentioned it in my feedback, they then shipped me another brand new one and told me to keep the old mouse, VERY good service! :)

Timely bump on this thread! My G710+ keys fro F8 to Pause/Break does not light up anymore, they just sent me an email 2 mins ago saying they'll replace. THIS is why i choose Logitec

Unfortunately, was quite disappointed with them recently. My G15 rev 2 keyboard has numerous issues, yet even after offering to pay for it to be replaced, they refused, as I am in Ireland. :/

I remember when my Trusty old G15 died after drinking a half a cup of coffee, the keyboard was originally a gift so didnt have a receipt or anything, however i did reigister the product when i first got it.

Anyway called them up and embarrassingly explained what had happened, (turns out their call centre was in Belfast) guy said they had actually discontinued the G15 but they would send out a comparable replacement, said they would also include a package to return my caffeine infused G15.

True to their form about a week later a shiny new G510 arrives with a letter apologising that the G15 was discontinued and hopefully my replacement would suit :)

Had fuse replaced in z5500s but then unit was faulty (sub. 1speaker), they replaed the whole sub and 5 speakers. Wow, , in favour my stuff I will buy with Logitech. I have 4 speakers I keep safe incase one goes.

I have a Thermaltake v8 but no bracket for amd am3 cpu so I hope I can get that sent here so I can rig my comp

Also when is warrenty up with logiech stuff? did you just give in your PID number too?

Logitech has the best ever customer service. Twice I've had issues with my mouse, both times they sent me new ones it no questions asked, didn't even ask for the old one back and both times with sealed, brand new products.

My G19 has major backlight issues on the lcd.. no matter.

my G5 mouse is going strong 8 years after purchase.
