Logitech and their Astuonding Customer Service

I have only dealt with them once - 6 years ago my Logitech G5 died.

The service was so exceptional that I have never bought a non Logitech peripheral since.

Yep, pretty much the same here. DiNovo edge, G400, Z10s etc. All excellent products anyway, but with the added peace of mind of their incredible support.

My brother recently purchased a set of speakers that had a faint buzzing sound on the sub, after raising a support case they sent him another set of speakers as a replacement without requesting the original set back. The set that arrived had a small scuff on one speaker, he mentioned it again so they collected the speakers via courier and sent him a discount voucher to the value of his original purchase.

The result, a set of speakers with a faint buzz on the sub and a hefty discount on the next model up.

I just wish other companies would adopt just 10% of their ethos, it would make a massive difference. BT for example... :D

They are a good company, i make them my first port of call just because of their great service, products are top notch too

I had a problem with my G500 and they got me to send it back and sent out a replacement. Sadly UPS aren't up to the same standard and seem to have lost the replacement

Every time ive had any faults with my Logitech stuff they have dealt with it quickly and efficiently. Ive had speakers replaced with not the model up but with ones that are a good £200 more.

One of the last good ones about.

Awesome company. I own logitech g600 mouse, g5 mouse and g510 keyboard. Oh and also z5500 speakers too.

They sent me new glide feet for my mice with no hassle. Used them for years.

they replaced my 5.1 surround sound for the next model up (z500 i believe), then they sent me another set because they developed a very slight fault. And a couple of years later i had a problem and they replaced them with the current revision (z68 i think, at work atm cant recall model numbers)

So id say yes they're service is excellent, however id would have been happier if they stopped breaking down :)

Had a few great dealings with Logitech. The best was a raiser on the bottom of my g15 broke. I phoned them to see if I could get a new one to raise the keyboard and they do not sell them separately. So they send me a brand new g15 instead :)

Logitech peripherals are great, and the warranty customer service if it does break is great also.
Currently all my peripherals are Logitech, and for any other company to get my money they're going to have to significantly undercut Logitech's pricing!

They're great.

I got a Driving force GT from t'rainforest at a great sale price, but it broke down a few months later. I got onto Logitech and they just said to send it back to the jungle and they'd sell me a new one for the same discounted price that I paid elsewhere.

Lovely jubbly.

I'm dreading the day my trusty MX1100 dies, they don't do another one like it these days.

You have the Performance MX which is a fine replacement. I've had all the Logitech MX mice and performance laser mice to date and the MX Rev is a good quality mouse with a battery that lasts as long as the MX1100 did.

my wireless keyboard is still working after 4 years of never being turned off and having numerous beverages spilled on it, still on the original AA's, can't beat value for money either!

Microsoft did similar with my sidewinder kb my macro pad is half dead (Not sure why) they replaced it with the most expensive item on there list they had available to me which was an Arc keyboard.. Which i sold and bought another sidewinder :) I got my way eventually its a shame they discontinued this sidewinder

+1 to logitech for this also but some companies are awesome even out of warranty!

Agreed they have fantastic Customer Service.

Dell are also very good if you have their On-Site Warranty service.

Have had to use Logi's support once, when my MX revolution done something or another. They sent out a brand new one.
Since then, I've bought Logitech Keyboards, Remotes, speakers & and a Performance MX mouse.

Their products can seem a little on the expensive side, but with the 2nd to non support, it is well worth the value.

(can haz discount codes now for bigging you up logitech?)

mouse with 2 year warranty
mouse dies after 6 months gets replaced.
replacement mouse dies 6 months later gets replaced based on the original mouses warranty :D
pure win
still using it now some 1-2 years later :D

you might see stuff like that as abuse but if a mouse has a warranty for 2 years you expect to have a mouse that lasts that long

Abuse? hardly, that's exactly how a warranty is supposed to work, they don't magically end when you get a replacement product. Some companies will go even further and actually give you a brand new full warranty period on the replacement product.

I didn't find them quite so good to deal with when my G7 developed doubleclickitus, they were extremely unhelpful and very unwilling to sort me out with a reasonable replacement or refund on what was a premium product that was well within it's warranty.
