Logitech G to Collaborate with Herman Miller

Just received a surprise email from HM saying that they now ship directly to NI addresses but with an extra £50 delivery fee.
Waiting now for a sale to get either an aeron or embody.
 
so i have had my embody for about 6 months now, and its starting get really creacky when when moving around on the chair. does anyone else's have the same issue?
 
I get the rubberised scrunchy creaking sound from the backrest if I push into it, but other than that, I don't get any mechanical creaking from the joints. Which is it you're referring to? I tend to leave it in the upright position and have it adjusted so that I kind of float in it, rather than having to push too far on any single part.

I've had my Embody many years now - since 2016 - and I'm growing dissatisfied because it lacks a headrest. Being at the upper weight limit doesn't help, but that's on me.

I believe there are some with embody chairs with that creaky sound, you can fire off an email to Herman Miller and discuss possibly repairing it. Their warranty is very good and they should repair it although technically not a fault depending on how bad the noise is. My one does not make any creaky sound.

Ive been using the Embody for about 4 weeks now. I dont mind not having the headrest but I dont lean back with the tilt. Maybe in the future ill buy the atlast headrest but its too pricey for now.

In my unit there is a bit of creaking if I fully flex the back rest. It doesnt creak with my normal usage
 
I bought one of these last week and I'm a bit annoyed with how much I like it. I love it, it's really comfortable and in a different galaxy to my old chair, but is it £1600 worth? I'm tempted to send it back and wait to see what happens on Black Friday, or keep an eye out for refurbs.

I wouldn’t pay that much for it. I’ve had mine for a good few years now but it wasn’t nearly as much as that!

Might be cheaper prices before Black Friday, I got mine direct from HM for 25% off in early November last year.

Yeah that was another thing that’s on my mind too. Don’t wanna keep it then a month later it’s 25% off.

I think I’ve made my mind up anyway, going to return it for now. At this money there are so many chairs I can try so I’m going to do exactly that before I make my mind up.

I paid £1050 for mine in last years sale, so i'd return and reorder if i were you too!
 
25% sale on these at the moment so just ordered an Embody in black // £392.50 saving.

The discount code RedHat did give me 30% off initially but at checkout it says it wasn't valid so they must've clocked on.
