Logitech G to Collaborate with Herman Miller

If that code is working, it's worth giving them a nudge and asking for them to honour it. I had a similar situation a couple years back where I missed the code for an extra 5% off, and they refunded me the difference before the chair even arrived. Definitely worth a punt. If that code stops working again, usually the bigger Twitch streamers will have a code for 5% off kicking around at this time of year. Have a look for one of those.

How did you all decide which lumbar support to go for on the Aerons without being able to try them somewhere first? I'm really tempted to pick one up.

By buying an Embody, so I didn't have to :D

On a more serious note though, unless you just read about it and take a guess based on the explanations, you'd be better off trying them. I think there's a show room in London somewhere, but you might find there's one of those refurb stores nearer to you.

Also worth noting, while you can return your chair, they'll charge you £50ish for shipping it back. Something to consider if you're going to just take a punt

Go into John Lewis and try it out.

That’s what I done. Although I feel like you’ve gotta sit on it for a few hours before you really know if it’s for you or not.

Well you were right mate, they refunded me the difference! Was ~£80 or something like that.

That's what I did, visited a couple of John Lewis stores until I tested all the chairs I was considering.

They do usually stock herman millers.

Showroom is bottom of Kingsway/top of Aldwych in London. But as others have said, John Lewis usually have models available to try.

Definitely worth anyone interested to try the different sizes as I bought a C as i tried a B in JL and it was not for me.

I decided to go for one of these during the last sale and got it delivered a couple of weeks ago. I was a little worried as there are a lot of complaints about creaking and it being uncomfortable to sit in for long periods due to pressure points, but I haven't had any issues with either.

I had a Mirra for about 4 years that I bought second hand and it was on its last legs, so probably not a fair comparison, but the Embody is way comfier and supportive for me. The seat is super comfy and I didn't get any pressure point issues I heard a lot of complaints about. I can sit in it for 8 hours easily with no comfort issues. The back feels very supportive and has good lumbar support and again is far comfier. I am not bothered about there being no adjustable lumbar support as it feels perfect as it is and I wouldn't need to adjust it even if I could. I haven't found it to be overly loud as shown in the Youtube videos where they crank up the mic gain and make it sound like your neighbours will be able to hear every time you move in the chair. It does creak a bit when leaning back, but I hardly notice it at all. Kinda just sounds the same as a leather sofa when you shift around.

The only slight issue I have found is that the front edge of the seat puts a bit of pressure on my thighs and I wish there was a feature to let you lower the front edge of the seat. Not too much of an issue as using a small footstool fixes it completely.

One upgrade I did immediately was to replace the rubbish plastic wheels with rubber roller blade type wheels. They are a must for hard floors.

I found moving the seat front, back a bit helped with this (the two handles at the front).
