You have to push the gear level down (vertically) then slide it to the bottom right to get it into reverse.

Lies, I cant tell you what the "sexiest" piece of computer hardware is without breaking forum rules, but lets just say it takes "cyber sex" to the next level :p
Well, looks like someone googled the word 'teledildonics' recently... :p

that just gets recognised at 6th..
Mine gets recognised as reverse gear using XPs controller properties

Make sure you push it down just like when u move from gated style to sequential...

Wish I could use mine but it crashes my internet connection.

Have you tried a reinstall of windows? How about switching the internet off when you fire the logitech software up, does that make a difference?

I have two installs of XP on different drives and the same effect on both.

Odd thing is when I first used the wheel it worked with the internt using the old momo drivers but after installing the software and drivers for the G25 the internet freezes.
It dosn't help starting the internet after the wheel it simply won't connect and keeps saying line fail.
After about thirty goes it may connect but it's frozen, only unpluging the wheel and rebooting the OS restores the connection.

I've tried unistalling the drivers and software but everytime I plug the wheel back in the G25 drivers reinstall from somewhere.

I've ordered a wireless modem and I'm upgrading to ADSL2 in the next few days so I hope that will help.

Saying the "internet" is a bit vague, how do you connect at the moment Sel? What kind of modem do you use? How many USB devices do you have? Which motherboard and PSU?

Wierd flakiness like this must be really annoying! Doesn't sound like drivers to me but maybe a USB issue maybe? If you reboot, plugin wheel, use wheel. Unplug wheel, connect to ISP, does that work?

I'm using a home built PC but I'm not 100% sure of what I stuck in it but it's something like this.

MSI NEO4 Motherboard
4800 2x 64 AMD CPU
450-470 watt PSU Noisetaker
2meg Giel MEM
2x150 gig raptor HD's
2xCDW
ATI 1900TX
onboard sound and USB ports.
Nothing over clocked

USB device connected
MS Optical mouse
Voayger USB Modem
Microsoft Game Voice
Logitech G25 Wheel.

I've tried without mouse and Game voice connected and still the same problem.

If I plug my wheel in at any time my internet connection just stops or won't start and the only fix is to unplug the wheel and reboot my PC.

How are the USB devices connected? Directly to the mobo or using a hub? Definitely sounds like a USB conflict somewhere - might be worth fiddling around with how they are connected (just use minimal including G25 and modem).

You could remove the USB drivers from device manager as a last resort and get it to reinstall them itself automatically (right click - scan for hardware changes), might sort it - never had USB issues myself...

Probably could solve it just by using a ethernet modem...

Thanks for the help, the USB's come straight of the MB.

I will have my new wireless modem next week so I am going to leave things as they are for now I've been on this for a week and have gotten real sick of restarting the PC and trying so many things.

If the problem persists after the new modem I'll get OCUK to check it out and see if it works for them.
