Logitech G25 apparently out in UK in 15days

o thats where your wrong.
im sure all new driving games will support it from now. and theres also Cross racing championship which has been out for a while which supports clutch.

Toca maybe, GTR and GTR 2 will support them.

and besides theres no point in a game like track mania to support clutch, there will only be use in propper driving sims.

Pretty much every decent racing sim in the past few years has support for all of it, so no need to doubt :)
 
Yer that was my worry at first, that it would go unsupprted, but im sure the big racing sims will all add in support for the wheel and its clutch :D

All the serious racing games I own support a clutch, I've been using a clutch and shifter that I bodged together for 2-3 years now and has been fantastic. Time to move to a better set though now I think

i wanna see this bodge ! i remember when i had the momo i used my joy stick at the clutch. it hardly worked but it was fun for 10 mins.

My seat looks identical to the 4th one down, I bought 2 cheap office chairs (£10each) and a pair of car seats from Macros (£99 for the pair) and built them myself for half the price.

hey i like your style, i did the same thing 3 years ago for GPL and LFS with my pedals, would never go back to a 2 pedal setup......and i have no intention of buying a G25....ive got my 3 pedals, i have my Red Momo (best) which has a 13" real racing wheel on it, and my act labs shifter....nothing beats it.
 
I ripped the guts out of my old logitech racing force, leaving just the usb board and one pot for the clutch pedal (which used to be the accelerator)... after a few beers and taking a hacksaw to my momo pedals, I combined the three and held it together with steel plates, with a floorcover from my car over them. The only slight drawback is having to use 2 usb cable for them, but they work perfect

The shifter is just a wingman force 3d ff joystick with a gear lever which uses ffshifter, a program from rsc to enable any type of gear gate position or any number of gears, it works very well but i'm still missing a few shifts now and then, which is why i'm thinking of the g25... I keep an eye out now and then for an act-labs shifter on the bay though. Paid £15 for the old wheel and pedals, and £10 for the joystick, ffshifter is free, so its a pretty inexpensive way and works very well.

ok i will try that too. im looking for a cheap race seat but failing.
 
Whats the latest with this wheel, I've seen a couple of reports from around Europe of a delay until the end of October. :mad:

I've just checked with sendit.com and GTR2 is ready for dispatching ;)
 
so far we know that its getting shipped over to the UK. but thats about it.

the release date is looking really joggy, any OcUK related people know anything?

It'll get looked at, I'd say it's borderline, but will let the dons decide. Plus this thread's quite old now and don't think OcUK were selling the wheel at the post time.
