Logitech G25 apparently out in UK in 15days

Im starting to sort out my desk in readiness of the G25, im just looking through my installed games Rfactor, GPL, GTL, GTR, LFS S2 and Richard Burns Rally... are there any obvious sims missing that I need to get ordered before I get a G25.
I mailed OCUK and they aren't doing pre-orders yet, but may do so when it gets closer to the availability date.
The competitor site posted at the top of this thread has now delayed it's pre-orders despatch date to like mid october (14th) so I guess that's a fairly reasonable date to expect OCUK to have them as well.

Netkar pro. Ignore the naysayers who moan about the bugs and crap support. It works fine with a bit of care. Great physics. New patch on it's way soon. And the support has just been improved with automated activation / details recovery.
If you're into pick-up racing it (currently) might not suit you, as all the good racing is happening in leagues. But very good it is too.
Oh, NR2003 and it's mods (GTP especially) are worth a look.
and playing driving sims on keyboard is wearing me down...
. I've heard the FF on GTR2 with the G25 is meant to be awesome. If only there was a GPL2 which made full uses of the G25

Silly question guys, but since this will be my first wheel can I attach this onto a glass desk? I havent got the desk in question yet, but its one of those ikea ones (page 278 
) - I have to admit the wheel is more important than the desk in question.
So will 1cm of tempered glass be ok? Must be a load of wheel users that have glass desks...

Has anyone managed to get hold of one of these yet or are we still waiting on the pre order?
I dont know about this wheel, but my current wheel wouldnt clamp to a glass desk, it would need something thicker, you could but something under the desk insude the clamp to make it thicker though.
Im lead to beleive the G25 uses a similar clamping system, but I dont know, so dont quote me.
