Just wondering,as im currently learning to drive, does your car in the game stall if you come off the clutch too early without pushing on the gas? :/
As Logitech bought in the first UK sample into the OcUK office on Thursday, I can confirm you can stall cars in game using the G27 clutch. But the games need to have the support built in.
The wheel itself is much better than the G25, the force feedback is smoother and more natural feeling, the wheel turning was much better, it was silent, the G25 can be rather noisy.
The pedals are much improved also, with the brake feeling like a real brake pedal with resistances, the clutch is light though, and the accelerate is spot on.
Cannot comment on the gear stick, as I prefered the padel gears, so I didnt try the stick out.
The issue of pricing was discussed with Logitech, need to wait and see if they can do anything for OcUK. Will keep you posted, and if a price reduction is given, any pre-orders will have the difference refunded back to them.
As for configuration in game, we tested 2 racing games out. Live for Speed and rFactor, both of which needed no configuration at all. It detected the G27 and both games have a "G27 profile" built in.
Be warned when you install the drivers in Windows for the wheel, the wheel tends to do 5-6 mad calibration spins so watch your not holding the wheel at the time.
