LOL

Same happened to me for a phone a few years back, except the wording wasn't quite as obvious: 'This is a ps3 box only' lol. He's gonna be so gutted!

Well the description way pretty clear about it being a box only.

"misleading listing - Tried to disguise EMPTY Box as a Playstation - Take Care"

LOL. :p

Some people are thick. I sense a non-paying bidder feedback. Or can people not do that anymore?

He should have to pay the money to some fund to buy normal people beer. Stupidity tax and that.

Its perfectly clear that its just the box, the bidder should know better and shouldn't complain to eBay about it. But yea, more than likely wont pay.

Obvously a scam, why on earth would

a) Someone just sell a PS3
b) Make a comment that he'll send the manuals as well.

Lol, it was a load of dodgy cancelled bids, the best one being for £70,800.00 cancelled because he believed he wouldn't pay for it. I'm guessing a couple of bids were people thinking they're getting a PS3 though

:)

People see these auctions then set up non paying accounts so they can bid high and screw the seller over in fees (which he will have to reclaim) by not actually paying for the item.

Fair play to them for bid crashing this type of auction. Its a box yes but the seller is playing on the posibility of a scam sale by the way *** auction is set up.

lol, negative feedback from the buyer...

What an absolute idiot, it's clearly labelled as just the box.
If people aren't willing to properly read a full listing before they bid a couple hundred pounds they deserve anything they get.

I'm willing to bet he just bid on it on purpose, knowing he won't pay for it, so he can leave bad feedback for others to be aware. Basically just helping others out really, even though they shouldn't be that thick in the first place to bid on it. :o

what if the seller genuine did just want to sell the box? Some people are obsessive about having the boxes for things that they spend a bit of dosh on, and there is probably a genuine market for people to buy good condition boxes......not the sellers fault that idiots think it's complete.
