London Bridge Incident

Church attendance is down to about 5% of the population, and that's on a fairly loose definition of "attendance" (source: yougov). Weekly attendance is about 1m per week, though I forget the source of that. Even if you were to double either claim for people not responding as you say, they're both markedly less than any outlandish census claim of religious belief.

Christianity is at a very low ebb, whatever you think.

Being more picky about the figures than anything - I know many of the more sect like brethren groups tend to go somewhat under the radar when it comes to official figures for various reasons - anyone working in any kind of reasonably sized business probably works with atleast 1-2 who won't outwardly admit to being part of such a group or on any kind of survey but attend like a gospel hall regularly.

Just put them in a FEMA styled camp. Job done.

That was done and it played a large role in starting IS. When you imprison lots of people without trial, some of whom are guilty and some of whom are not, you're setting up excellent conditions for breeding violent extremism.

If you think there's another 5% or even .5% of people attending brethren churches in stealth mode then I think you are kidding yourself.

I'm not making claims that it isn't anything other than a very low ebb (my parents used to attend a group before I was born in the 70s with around 200K members - down to just ~50 today - that is 50 not 50K) - but people might be surprised at the numbers compared to the official figures - a lot of groups like those exclusive groups Plymouth, Renton, etc. aren't very accurately represented in official data compared to the real number of active members regularly attending their meetings.

The west didn’t create ISIS, they freed it. There’s an ISIS in every Muslim majority country, but they’re mostly being contained.

Is there a list anywhere of things that don't cause more radicalism? I get the feeling it's pretty short.

Can we make this guy the new PM? I reckon he'd have things sorted out in no time. Edit: "Them" being the extremists btw.

Really because he works in the private military sector which would love some action, he might genuinely believe what he does, but he is biased.

Yeah he was saying how eager he was to see some action recently - that said I do think he is potentially on the money that we need to start seriously looking at how much we should be nipping this in the bud and maybe take some action that some parts of society are going to find hard to stomach because there is a very real possibility otherwise in the long term it is going to turn into something where we have no choice but to resort to far more extreme methods to deal with it.

There just isn't a facepalm big enough for this post lol.

What's a mosk by the way?? Or did you mean mosque??

So in essence you want to take away the rights of peaceful muslims to have their own places of worship, the ones who are happy to integrate into British life like myself.

Thank god none of your halfbrained ideas would ever get passed as law.

yes i don't care for religion.

the latest statistics i read was over 70% of muslim women are unemployed and over 40% of men are too. yeah they have integrated well, they contribute a lot to society. they do thank Britain for the benefit system and social housing. up to 6 kids in a family, yeah no plans on ever working and like i wrote before. it will only get worse. you think i care about being politically correct? the sooner Brexit happens the better, then they might get some control over who enters this country and keep their citizens safe. and before you ask, no, i didn't vote leave.

How many Muslim countries are in EU?

We have been able to control non-EU immigration but what was May doing when she was Home Secretary about those numbers? Jack all.
