London Bridge Incident

Possibly so but certainly doesn't help at a time when community cohesion is so low.

Possibly what?

This is her statement:

"My thoughts at that moment were one of sadness, fear, and concern. What the image does not show is that I had talked to other witnesses to try and find out what was happening, to see if I could be of any help, even though enough people were at the scene tending to the victims."

She was then on the phone to her family.

Cohesion is low because people lap up clickbait media. You fell for it too...

ceramic knives are sharp as hell.

although as the polcie pic shows tey chip.

but suppose that wasnt too much of an issue

I think they had something else planned which didn't come off - the ceramic knives were suggested as being chosen to get past metal detectors. Though not sure why they didn't go back to the drawing board when they failed to get the lorry as planned which I guess the molotovs tied into.

IIRC most ceramic knives still contain metal to prevent such a thing(maybe for the magnet kitchen wall knife holder thing as well). I imagine big brand ones like the ones they used would certainly add metal to prevent media backlash.

Edit: Having doubts I googled it and apparantly Aldi were selling ones last year without any metal so... ****.

LOL was just gonna say I tested the ones in our kitchen and the little black ones from Aldi didn't register at all while the big ones all were very detectable (EDIT: We have a mixed set and some of them are and some of them aren't detectable weird and some bigger ones I dunno where from that are detectable).

Not something I know much about but the summary was they'd chose them to avoid detection but it could have been a flawed plan on their part.

Sadly evidently a bit late now but I would have expected such knives to be required to have metal in them.

A lot of clubs in my old area used to rely on metal detectors for the dodgier looking clients. Pretty useless if all it'd take to bypass was to spend less at aldi .

It was more that they failed to hire the van they wanted, used cheap lidl knives, failed to use the cocktails etc. It was like they did it on a whim. Obviously they caused a lot of chaos. It just seems like if these people were actually organised how much worse the whole thing could have potentially been.

oh well that would have failed anyway.

they add a small amount of powdered metal to ceramic knives so that they set off metal detectors for that exact reason.

Pure interest how did you test them?

The LGBT community have been rallying against Sharia Law in Manchester today. The BBC reported that they were "far right".

Sharia Law would probably see decades of progress with regards to homosexuality (and other gender related minorities) reversed so why do leftists defend it so much?

EDL marched in Manchester today. Unless there's something I've missed it's a pretty lolworthy misrepresentation to suggest that they were marching in aid of LGBTQ rights.
