BBC to be fair are usually a bit behind anyway.
The police wouldn't say what occurred but Whale said a few people had heard what they thought was gunfire and a car was outside the studio with every window smashed in.
Been confirmed one gunshot by police took out a car tyre, occupant arrested but not terrorist related.

This is exactly the same position as the police are in, with the exception that the police are legally allowed to carry what would normally be classed as offensive weapons to assist as it is recognised that they are expected to face situations where they'll need them to perform their duties on a regular basis.

Not at all. Fighting back against this is more of an answer than the government are prepared to give.

You talk of the police like this.... You are forgetting a fundamental and pivotal point: The police allowed these Jihadis to do this, and the last one AND the one before that! If the police aren't protecting us, we need to defend and protect ourselves. But lets not let facts get in the way of the situation when trying to claim the "moral high ground".

Muslims help, yes I agree but I cant help but recall the "picture says it all" from the Bridge in the event in March with the Muslim woman just walking passed injured/dying people.

I don't tarnish all with the same brush but Islam has a big problem in its texts and there are a large number of Muslims who are supportive or unopposed to the practices/actions such as we have seen.

So again, the police have shown their incompetence over at least 5 individuals and we are meant to stand there getting stabbed and attacked whilst waiting for plod to do their job. Worked great for 6/22/7 people didn't it
 
Which that picture was taken out of contest by the media once again. She did give an interview saying that she was in shock when she walked by that person on the bridge. Sometimes people don't think straight when they have seen something so utterly shocking.

Possibly so but certainly doesn't help at a time when community cohesion is so low.

In other news: The fire at Stoke hospital the other day may have been an attempt at terrorism that police are treated under its useful terminology of arson. (think the nursery worker stabbed type of suppression from media).

The MSM certainly didn't take it out of context as they didn't report on it.

Interesting Yas after stating something about Police incompetence you pick out the minor addendum to a much more issue based post. Then again, perhaps its been addressed ad infinitum in the previous 110 pages.

equivilent to every 17 hours, 19,000 attacks.

but now we have a few in a few montrhs and everyones saying how much terrorisim is on the rise.

But... there was a very acceptable anti-Irish sentiment from the late 1800s til the GFA (even then some parts of the UK will always have an opinion, stupidly), "No Coloureds, No Irish, No Dogs".

It was tongue in cheek, the real difference is 24/7 news and social media ramming the most minute pointless details down our throats endlessly in the aftermath.

Well yeah very true but that's how they think :) I think a lot of these 'Terrorist' are rather brainless as even I could come up with ways to kill more people than 7... Not that I will ever do that or even consider it, I'm just stating the fact
 
Went through the area today, Southwark road has opened up again, the best way to beat these terrorists it for life to carry on as normal. especially on the road they attacked. For those going to the area tonight, guys get drunk and leery and women show as much leg as you like. :)
