London Bridge Incident

People, do realise that list is made up of people who've gone and fought for IS.

Is that the only people?

What about people they meet or call when they come back to this country, or before they left, shouldn't we put them on the list to investigate if they are part of a wider group supporting them?

Bad people are armed now while innocent or 'good' people aren't. They access weapons on the black market. If guns were more easily available in the UK I would imagine you would not be able to have one if you have criminal convictions, you would need character references and maybe even psychological evaluation / reference from Doctor that you don't have mental health issues. All weapons would be recorded on a central register with owner details captured.

If even 1 in 10 people on the streets had an open or concealed carry weapon I'm sure it would make criminals of all stripes think twice.
America says otherwise.

So here is a thought.

The Muslim council of Britain in response to the attacks gives out a A4 page letter condeming the attacks then goes back to bed..

The Sikhs get out of bed and immediatly open up all there Gurdwaras in the area and offer free food and somewhere to stay for all those effected regardless of there religion.

I know who i would rather have in this country..

When and only when there is a 50,000 person march through the centre of Luton by moderate muslims condeming attacks like this and demanding action against the hate preachers that are ruining the reputation of there religion.

Sitting at home wringing your hands and doing nothing isnt an option for them anymore.

I agree with this comment massively, if this was white christians, there would be outrage from us. I don't see the same outrage from the other side though

So you believe everyone on that list fought for isis then flew back to the uk
All 23,000 or what ever the number is

it's 3500, not all of them fought for IS, but you can at least grab the people that did fight for IS, the intelligent services will know who they are. Do you disagree with that?

If this is what most people suspect, it is getting harder and harder to argue that we are not being too lenient on those supected of harbouring anti UK feelings.
This, and we have been for to long. Round up all of them and get them off our streets.

I await more apologist deflect and defend bull **** coming my way from the usual crowd.

I am only on the first few pages of this thread.

Again, R.I.P to the victims and best wishes to those affected.

I seem to be saying the above sentence far to many times on these forums.

So much this, i've moved into a new build housing community and i thank god all the asians moving in around me are Hindu's. Not a Muslim in site (they wouldn't come anywhere near here apparently because theirs a synagogue round the corner!)

Got to page 46 and it knocks me sick (tefal in particular) with a lot of peoples stance. Hopefully you are not English Tefal because that would explain a lot. Massive apologist.

We've literally descended into advocating rounding up people without trial and locking them up or sending them somewhere else.

No words. Some of you sound like you'd be more at home with the politics of some random middle eastern dictatorship.

So you did nothing yourself but are criticizing others for doing the same.
Fair to call you a hypocrite?

Deflect and defend. Deflect and Defend...

It is not my religion that is being twisted and used as an excuse to kill.

As i have already said i would join such a march and walk shoulder to shoulder with them [ that part of my last comment you snipped out when replying as it doesnt fit with your agenda ]

At the moment they are doing nothing to help themselves and that needs to change.

Tough measures needed. Definitely round them up. Show them we mean business. Ditch the softly softly approach.

... Yes ...
without trial
... Nope ....

I'd counter that with the depressing thought that some here would see the slaughter continue on a weekly basis while rounding up only those with a knife in their hand or a bomb strapped to their chest.

Tough measures maybe but rounding people up without trial is so fundamentally opposed to what our society is built upon it depresses me that so many would readily rush to it as the ideal solution.

May pushing her political agenda to regulate the internet now.

Yep.

As if the issue wasn't at all to do with letting people leave the country fight in Libya and then return here.... (like the manchester bomber).

I'd say letting a bunch of radicalised people back in the country was far more of a problem...

Softly softly approach is not working is it?
