This is a different car...and it has a unitronic stage 1+ remap...its the stock k03s turbo...about the same tuning like my car approx 240hp

the speedo reads about 260.

the v box 256 TRUE km/h

Whats so unreal?

Can you READ?

I didn't say that one was unbelievable, just the 173MPH(278KPH) one before it. Oh, and your "porsche beater" too.

love how he gets all scornfull about the spec of yours, when the vast marjority of his spec list is just gumph.

Who lists a stock FMIC in their spec list ?

You've got a Stage 2 Remap, and a full turbo back exhaust and a fuel pressure regulator. Hardly the most extensive list of power mods ?

Because these cars are no popular in the UK doesnt mean that everyone is lying when claiming something you havent come accross...

Thats just it

the VW Audi Group is very popular over here

Don't forget the gauges ;)

the 270 km/h ibiza has a BT SETUP....but once again nobody knows of the mitsubishi TD turbochargers...

You seem to be jumping all over the place and not answering any questions....

You said that video posted showing 260kph has the same power as your car, i then said look at how slowley its gaining speed at the top end (which was my original point), i seriously doubt a 911 will gain speed that slowley.

since when is the 1.8T unit not popular in the UK, news to me???

Para is running more power than you have and has a 6 speed gearbox which no doubt will be the same as your box, what more reading do you want us to do?

BHP stands for Brake horse power right?

power on the wheels unless i am wrong...

Never claimed my K03s is producing 240hp on the wheels.....

You seem confused.

wrong

Brake Horse Power makes no stipulation as to where it is recorded.

An engine produces a certain ammount of brake horse power. This is the power at the flywheel

Unfortunately however, not all of that power is transmitted to the wheels, and a certain ammount of that power is lost in the transmission of the power from the engine to the wheels

meaning the same measureement (BHP) at a different location (wheels vs fly) gives you an estimation of the same thing (the BHP) but recorded from a different location. This value is lower as a certain ammount of power is lost in the transmission. But its still the same thing you record.

Of course you can only accurately record power at the wheels, as thats what dynos abroad usually quote. But certain dynos can calculate the transmission loss and provide a reasonably accurate prediction of the power at the flywheel. And since dyno measurements arent exactly 100 % accurate anyway, the power at the fly figure is no less reliable than the power at the wheels figure.

Been a member there for years...

There is lack of knowledge on these forums...

Try VW Vortex forums better......

Funny enough forum membership doesn't mean you're a fountain of knowledge.

I bet me and Para have done more work and had a 1.8T in more bits than you have......

As for the sparkplug.....

They will be a colder rated plug i run NGK 7E's personally, they are better but need changing more oftern.

With full tuning, and all peripherals they produce arround 270-280 hp...arround 290-300 with 42+ kgm of torque with custom made exhaust manifolds.

I seen a few Leons that are over the 300 mark. Its not all about the large numbers in the end. You still need to be able to get the power onto the floor.

Hence why my mums Escort Cosworth (When she had it) would kick the LCR into the ground. 4WD or even RWD would make it insane! But they aren't. Leons do get torque steer, so would an Ibiza, so giving it more power is only going to make it worse surely?

believe me leon cupra 2s with just a remap are not scraping off the tarmac.

nobody is denying that these cars arent fast

we just doubt your claims that a 325bhp Porsche 911 less than 10 years would do anything other than thrash you.

Oh, and while we're on it, we doubt your claims that leons make 380bhp on stock turbo, and can do 170mph. As you can see from the photos above, paradigm rebuilt his entire 1.8T engine piece by piece. He does know what he's talking about.

Especially given your remarks about what speed you raced it up to. Please, use your own sense of logic and see that if you pulled up a drag strip, and raced alongside a random 911 carrera with 325bhp, its better aerodynamics, gearing and 100bhp advantage, would mean it would trash you.
