Did you only register in 2007?

**** you spam a lot.

:D

In fact, add up my 11k from this account and 10k from my old one.. and I still wouldn't beat you! :p

:(

It's not spam 40% of it is helpful advice:)

60% is sarcastic smartarsedness butwho counts that :o

The main problem that we encounter is the current state of the forum databases. Without detailing all of the problems, for they vary between different databases, the only realistic method of correcting these wide-ranging problems is to delete all databases and start again

That was it, the database was basically knackered. Registration had been disabled for a while and it had got to the stage that it took minutes to do any maintenance on the forums, even something as simple as deleting a post took over a minute.

post to find out when...

2008 :( but give it a few days and it will look a lot better :D

AND it was the beginning of 08 :P

another 2004'er - over 5 years, i remember when i joined to spec up a new pc, i bought a radeon 9800 pro amongst other things :p

It feels like I've been here forever but I'm an absolute whipper-snapper compared to some of you.

You don't realise how much the posting population changes over time until you go back and read some of the older threads. In the age of mattheman and platinum87, there is nobody to keep ibot's legacy of the worlds biggest troll alive :p

I lurked here on and off for years, how about this for an order from 2001:

ThermoEngine V60-4210 (Socket A/FC-PGA) - £18.00

AMD Athlon Thunderbird 1.33GHz 266MHz FSB (Socket A) - £154.00

Abit KT7A-RAID (Socket A - AMD Thunderbird/Duron) - £106.40

Crucial 256MB PC133 CAS-2 - Guaranteed to PC150 - £92.90

Great prices. :D

I was here before the nuke, I bought an Iwill slocket 2 from here in 2000 for my P3 500 and joined the forums almost straight after.

The nuke was the best thing to happen here.

Saw the back of some rather unpleasant people, no I say that, that didnt happen till a while after did it?

In the great falling out.

I have some 2002 screenshots, one of the forum and a couple of the old skool store.

I'll post them up when I get home. They are on a very old CD-R :)

When I joined almost everyone had the Thunderbird/Duron Bundle, a couple of years after that everyone had a xp-barton with a NF7-S with a herc 9800pro (Deal of the week ;) )

... and before that this was one to have:

Hercules 3D Prophet III - OEM - £332.40 :D

Been here since early 2003, cant even remember how I found the site, probalby google.

I check the site every day but I wont post unless necessary, a lot of people post too much crap to increase a post count.

I was around although with a different name and not very active back when the forum had guns for avatars lol! Never see it mentioned in these kind of threads though so i think its an unspoken rule not to talk about it or something, anyway how long ago was that? :p
